Is it possible to create this "look"?

When I first started ESO, I got my hands on this really nice-looking disguise. The thing is, it won't last forever. Some bandits will trigger the disguise into disappearing and it's not visible in Cyrodill. I also can't apply any hairstyles, markings or anything of that sort from the Crown Store. I've tried to remake it naturally since the whole look is based on existing armor pieces, but I've been struggling to do so. Could anyone lend me a hand?

Here's the look in question:

Lemme know if you have any advice for me! I have no idea what those gloves are... and is it possible to hide shoulder pieces?

Yes, it is. From some old footage, it seemed ZOS decided to overhaul it at some point. The original look was quite bland, but for some reason, they decided to change the dyes and add more detail into it. The shoulders I can live with, but do you have any idea what those gloves are?

    Here's the original:

Whenever I take a quest that involves a disguise, I pick one up, and immediately unequip it and bank it. Then I pick up another one and continue with the quest. I have a number of disguises banked this way, but it's unfortunate for three reasons:

    1. You can't dye disguises; only armour/outfits.
    2. If I ever forgot to unequip the disguise before venturing out into the world, I would lose it the second I aggroed a mob.
    3. All these disguises of course take up bank or alt bag space.

But at least I can keep the disguises beyond the quest where they're given.

You can get pretty close to the costume at the outfit station with low level nord motif.

That disguise looks very similar to the Nord motif, in tier 2 (steel) heavy armor. Take a look here for a comparison: https://i0.wp.com/eso.mmo-fashion.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/2018/02/Nord-Steel-Female-Close-Front.jpg?ssl=1

If that is the look you're going for, then all you need to do is get the Nord motif unlocked on any character, then you can create an outfit with all the pieces in Heavy Nord 2. You'll also be able to dye it any color you want.

It's a mix of Nord 1 and Nord 2. Although I can't get the dyes quite right, nor am aware of those gloves. They seem like cloth?

u know that anywhere outside of the quest that gave u the disguise is safe right? u can attack and be attacked all u want and u will not lose the disguise, the disguise is only lost if done so on the quest that gives it to u

Disguise disappears only when you are exposed by npcs at original area. Simply unequip it visiting Bleakrock.

Although I cannot be sure, but I think the gloves are one of the few stolen clothing variety among the 3 factions, in this case probably findable as the Ebonheart Pact stolen clothing. Takes some RNG and time to actually steal the right ones, and launder them just to be on the safe side.
Also a fun fact, this particular disguise had actually 2 different appearances at the very earliest times when ESO came out, toggled by removing and re-equipping that disguise. That was changed some months into the game to only ever have 1 set appearance, same for every other quest-based "inventory item" kind of disguise in the game, and most if not all of those kind of disguises were made to be lootable at anytime even after finishing the quest which provided them, where originally, if you lost them during the quest and finished that, those disguises were lost forever for that character.

While its true that shoulders cannot be hidden, keep in mind there are some shoulders that look like collars, much like in the original picture above. I forget which ones exactly look like collars instead of true shoulders, but look at the low level racial armor styles like Nord, Breton, and Dark Elf. Pretty sure it was some of those, and that it was their light armor, but also be aware that their textures look like leather instead of metal. Perhaps there are others which look closer to metal.

    Almost.
Play around with the low-tier nord heavy armor pieces in the outfit system...
The thing is, as has been mentioned, you cannot hide shoulders.
You -could- however use a light "pixane" style shoulderpiece to get close...

But in that spirit, we all do wish there were an "invisible armor" style set someday that -would- allow us to make our shoulder armor unseen, yes? As I posted before:
The most reasonable thing we can expect...
...is for them to sell "invisible armor" motiv pages in the crown store.

I mean, the suits in charge certainly won't send a code-jockey to spend their paid time programming the hide function for all outfit slots without wanting to see some profit, right?

But selling people the option... that would appeal to their shriveled greedy little hearts, right? :p;)

As for the lore... well, I already said it. "Invisible Armor". Enchanting your sturdy armor with an invisibility spell, to lure your foe into a false sense of security...
I mean, look at this guy:

Doesn't work for me. I dunno why. I haven't tried others, but this one just "poofs". It's still in the slot, but it's not shown.

It won't be possible to re-create exactly because it's missing some pieces which can't be hidden, but it's mostly low level nord armour.

    Head: None
    Chest: Nord heavy tier 2
Shoulders: None (I used light Akaviri because they stick to the arms)
Hands: Soul Shriven light (the fur is actually part of the coat)
Waist: None (for the preview I picked light ashlander because it sits below the belt so IMO it's less noticeable)
    Legs: Nord heavy tier 1
    Feet: Nord heavy tier 1

I think the coat, legs and gloves are using Rank 2 dye, and the rest is undyed.

Of course if you're making it as an outfit you can make any changes you like.
