What to pair with Defilers?

I’m obsessed with Defilers, mainly cause I’ve grown strangely attached to the hunger that spawns from this set (I’ve named him Steve), and with the recent changes that Murkmire brought to PvP I’m hoping for some advice on what I could pair with this set? My build is a stamina nightblade, currently its a 2H/bow build (which can change if needed). Right now I have it paired with Morag Tong. I’ve been enjoying the poison build so I’d like to stick with that theme if possible.

Any advice or should I retire this set completely and switch it up? Thanks for the help community!

Is Defilers actually any good?

I just deconned a bunch of pieces last night to free up inventory on one of my mules. They were all Divines and Impenetrable.

Plague-slinger would be a fun set to use with defiler, decent damage too.

Add in velidreth for the whole poisony plague-themed setup.

Would function decently in No-CP where procs are really strong. I would actually love to see a Defiler/Plague-Slinger/Velidreth build in action with poison flying all over the place, lots of flavor.

Or you could run BonePirate/Shacklebreaker/Trollking like I do and be a boring boring boring man.

Well you need a high crit chance to make good use of Steve, so I would advise Leviathan with Slimecraw. You'll be full glass cannon but it will be hella fun

Hunt leader is awesome with it. Try it. It is insanely good with Defiler.
