Why is DK chains not dodgeable or Reflectable but Silver Leash is?

Is this just an oversight since Silver Leash change.

I don’t know if Silver Leash can be reflected though

    It is a feature of the class skill
    (Math before coffee, except after 3, is not for me)

    It should be dodgable. Its stupid. I am tired of the chain+foss rotation by the zerg DKs.

    Chains are not a Projectile so no you cant reflect it (while the silverleash 1st hit is, so reflectable)

    even if you could dodge chains, they are so fast 99% of ppl wont even manage to do so, unless you dodged anyway that moment xD

    If im not mistaken you can block them to avoid getting pulled

    Making it dodgeable wouldn't improve very much. One of chain's morphs grants the consumed resources back, when the target could not be pulled, hence allowing the casters to spam it until they get ya.
    Pugging. Pugging all the way to victory.
    Imperial Dragonknight --- male, stamina, heavy & medium armor, dual wield, one hand and shield, two handed.
    Breton Templar --- female, magicka, light armor, restoration staff.
    Redguard Warden --- female, stamina, medium armor, bow.
    Breton Sorcerer --- male, magicka, light armor, destruction staff.
    Imperial Templar --- male, stamina, medium armor, two handed.

    Want to enjoy the game more? Try both PvP (crybabies) and PvE (carebears). You'll get a better perspective on everyone's opinion.

    the gap closer allows you to foss, the pull applies CC

    Yeah I meant the gapclose one. Crappy DKs do nothing but chain+foss and maybe the odd talons. If they want to do that, then chain should be dodgable.

    I don't find the combo to be anymore than annoying. Fossilize should just lose it's damage as the skill is a bit too much, though.

    I’d assume it’s an oversight, but to hazard a guess at the logic if it’s not, I believe the base tooltip for leash is higher, meaning it’s (slightly) more viable as a damage dealing skill on its own, whereas the weaker chains do provide some damage but are mostly a utility skill.

    I don't think it was added to give DK chains to everyone in pvp. It was an attempt to buff the other classes in terms of pve tanking.
