Confused about Nerfs

So after a 50 GB download I take my Templar for a spin and the most noticeable change is Radiant Spell goes splutter briefly and stops, going back and reading the Patch Notes the Developers tell me that the shorter duration allows me more time to use the other exciting Spells.

So if this is the thought process from Zeni I'm guessing the main aim of a 50GB Patch full of very little is to encourage me to play this increasingly annoying game less therefore opening up more time for other exciting Titles.

Well your on track Zeni.

    Well your on track Zeni.

Well the 50GB are mostly used for the new zone murkmire...
And about radiant destruction: Yes they shortened the duration from 2.8 seconds to 1.8 seconds (from 4 to 3 ticks of damage). If you compare amount of ticks and time, the new radiant actually provides more damage per time. Additionally the cost was decreased. Also shortening the duration helps dps by being able to weave more light attacks than before. So in conclusion, the change to radiant destruction is a buff.

He don’t want to use flexible opportunities of new radiant, he just want press one button as a healer and see how boss melts.

It was a buff on damage and you get to do other stuff faster.

Or more radiant faster, if thats your thing and like the animation, then just cast twice in a row. :p

You should be happy about Murkmire, Magicka Templars got plenty of buffs.

I get what you are saying about Radiant and yes I see your point, but cannot agree with Murkmire is the reason for 50GB size, how big was Murkmire on PC and PlayStation ?, X Box players are increasingly being stuffed through lousy decisions from Zeni that they always try to pin on Microsoft.

Well you also need to think about all base game, DLC changes and so on. All that stuff needs to be "reinstalled".
