You don't gain anything, because enchantments of same type share their cooldown. They can't stay proc'd at the same time, that makes using two enchantments of same type meaningless.

Are you asking whether you could have a weapon enchant on one and a spell enchant on the other? What build with double staves would need a weapon damage enchant?

@TheDarkoil , I don't think there are separate 'weapon damage' and 'spell damage' weapon glyphs. There's 'weapon & spell damage' (the berserker), it gives both. From what I understood, the question is about using two such glyphs on both staves.

@Creationofgod , depends on build, I often see (and use myself) berserker on back bar and fire/shock on front (where you weave your spammable), but also double damage (fire + shock for instance), or swapped around (berserker front, fire back); I suppose they all work.

They would both proc however you would only get the spell and weapon damage boost from one as the enchantment buffs infact do not stack with itself...also it is worth noting that if you use said enchant on an infused weapon then the cooldown is reduced to 5 seconds, which is the duration of the buff, allowing for a theoritical 100% uptime

    tl;dr 1 S&W enchant > 2 S&W enchant due to non stacking

i did not know that , so it would be smart to use that enchant on a infused weapon and by weaving light attacks it would have an 100% uptime and then use sharpened frond bar with firedamage or something else.

    nice thnx for the advice

You want to use double infused.

is infused the only viable weapon trait ?

Essentially. You can make a case for nirn in aoe situations but enchantments are just so strong right now.
