That is exactly how mine acts if the Internet drops, you can play but nothing happens in combat...and then it craps out totally.

With my luck, that is exactly the kind of thing that would happen to me, right before an epic moment....or a should-have-been-epic moment.

I know you are sick, I feel for you. I would walk away for a while. It's probably too raw to get back in there any time soon.

My commiserations, OP. I was having the freezing/ kicking happen on a regular basis too; ranted about the servers. But, for me, those problems stopped happening after spending $800+ AUD on a new WiFi.
Now if only the crap internet in my country could be fixed that easily...

Funny this happened to half of my group in the last few minutes of the plunder skull event, they got kicked just in time for the boss to die and then got no loot at all for doing DSA. Then muttered some extremities and logged off.

Sorry that happened to you OP. Probably was a little worse than the one that happened to me actually. I had a flawless run going at the same spot you were at and after he ported up all my skills went gray aka glitched out. I could only light attack or heavy attack and also could not click the portal due to the glitch. Basically had to let a crematorial guard kill me and then use an ultimate to unglitch my skills just to complete it. I ended up doing the flawless thing a few days later when I cooled off. I wouldn't recommend playing VMA after any sort of recent disconnects or glitching occurs since you might be more susceptible to a repeat performance on that day.

I wouldn't run Netflix while doing vMA. Netflix will buffer and suck up your bandwidth, could have been the cause...

For those that don't watch videos, let me explain. I'm on the last boss about to go up for the crystal phase, when everything stops. I can still move, but everything is frozen. From what I've noticed, and many others, is that ESO seems EXTREMELY sensitive when it comes to your connection. I used to DC during pvp all the time, getting the very same message as you. I did multiple tests with my bandwidth without finding any errors (110mbit up/down). I can't remember if it was ZOS or my ISP that asked me to try a new ethernet cable.. I did.. and now it's been running perfectly ever since.
It seems like other games don't get you disconnected as fast, even if your cable isn't 100% top notch condition. It's the coding on ZOS end that's causing so many to notice the difference when comparing with other games. But I honestly don't think they'll even know where to begin to sort the issue.

Vma has been bugged from the start , sadly as it's pinnacle solo content. Crazy its so bad as its instanced. But i assume its a coding thing or something as Orsinuum was bugged bad too originally.

I feel you TC. Too many bugs keep me from obtaining flawless. Yesterday I was on final boss and usually I'll destroy the last crystal as I'm jumping to the bottom. I'm halfway down to the bottom when the game decides to push me back up top and then back into the lava.....where I couldn't move. I was bathing in lava and couldn't do anything about it.

Second attempt, the boss had 12k health left....I was dishing out executes after executes! His health wouldn't drop. After my 6 or 7th execute...he fell over and the game hung....no music or sounds for about 10 seconds and finally the chest appeared....of course I was rewarded with the sword and dagger....again *shoots self

PS4 pro. Only got so much I can do to control setting to improve performance. Have the best Internet package available in my state, designed specifically for online gaming.
Like I said, only game I have issues with is ESO, sadly. Wish it wasn't so, but it is...

It only shows between rounds on console, but you can see in the corner I am in fact doing it on vet. (The quest text in upper right corner, that is..)

I'll keep this in mind next time, although it's never been an issue in any of my previous runs. Unfortunate it had to happen on THIS particular run, but lesson learned.

you can always show it by selecting the related setting from the options menu. not sure but smth like "group revive" or similar thing.

I have had a would have been flawless run ruined because of lag too. It wasn't on such a late round, though.

The round with the electroislands and the snakes, pretty early in. I get to with a very small amount of health on the last boss. Suddenly I cannot change bars, a lag spike, and I'm dead. I tried again but the island was so laggy that I proceeded to die 13 more times, wasting 14/15 deaths on the one round.

Finally it stops being so bad, and I proceede to beat the entire thing without dying to literally any other round.....

I'd assume that it's an issue on ZOS end, a few days ago I was doing a nCR run as the tank for the shadow group, mid fight, it happened to everyone in the shadow realm, which was thankfully but also sadly, just 1 dps and a tank(me) at the time who got disconnected at the same time with guildies.

The issue is very similar if not the same effect. Of course, the conclusion was a wipe as there was no one in the bottom to replace in time as it occurred at a very bad moment. I think there was a a third that came in midway who was unaffected.

I'd wonder if it was both users computer that crapped out at the same time despite living on the opposite sides of the world and disconnected at the same time.
