AIO Crafting stations

I'm noticing guild houses or crafting houses are somewhat impractical with all the crafting stations for all the sets. It is something many guild houses hope to achieve. Furthermore, as more craftable sets are added to the game, the worse it will get. May even hit housing capacity of items.

I was thinking, it sure would be ideal if there was an AIO (All in one) attuneable crafting station. 1000 writs can buy you a station that does Blacksmithing, Woodwork, Clothing and Jewelry all in one unit.

For people that own existing stations that may want to turn all 4 into one, have the Writ Merchant sell something (lets call it a widget) for 10 writs that operates similar to a Welk Binder. If the player that wants to turn it into an AIO all they need is to have one of each of the 4 attuneables in their inventory, double click the widget and it turns the 4 into 1.

Good idea. The amount of crating stations at guild houses is becoming ridiculous. I understand that these leaders want to have all the stations in one place for convenience, but with every big update/DLC comes new sets and new stations to acquire. In all honestly, 90% of the set stations can be easily found in the open-world within 5 minutes for players that have explored most of Tamriel. It's more like an OCD thing for certain people who want to acquire every possible station and order them alphabetically.

Oh, I agree 100% it is OCD. The only ones I'd own would be the Imp City ones given they are a pain for writs.

I'd prefer having still four station but make the sets in a way they can be added and selected for crafting.

The OCD is a thing. also digitel e-peen is for comaparison of the big guilds.

Agree 100% with the OPs idea.

But for the record those of us who have every crafting station on a guild house don't do it due to ocd...

For example I do crafting writs on a dozen characters every day. That generates a lot of master writs.

Remembering where every set station is located in the world, then traveling to each in turn to complete each individual master writ takes a huge amount of time.

Being able to just port to one place and do everything in 2minutes saves me at least an hour of playing time each week.

And for people who do fewer writs it's convenient... One place, get everything done.

There's very practical reasons for having all the attunables... But love the idea of condensed stations... Takes up too many furniture slots right now.

It would over-complicate the user interface and make writ add-ons necessary to avoid said over-complicated interface.
Taking space out of your personal housing instance to offer crafting stations is generous, but I'm not sure ZOS wants to endorse either the guild house concept in general or making it even easier for PC to complete one-click writs.

I think they'd be more on board allowing people to port to more than a primary residence. Then offer up to 10 instances per general furnishing type. So a series of crafting houses would use Workshop 1 through Workshop 10. A series of dungeon trophy houses would use Gallery 1 through Gallery 10. ERP would use Suite 1 through Suite 10. And so on.

That not only gives players chances to specifically theme houses, but it spreads players out so you avoid access bottleneck.

It shouldn't be too difficult. Even if the AIO crafting station, when you interact with it, asks you with a menu whether you want to interact with a Woodworking station, Black smith station, Jewelry station, Clothing station. So it doesn't even need a new menu.

Much like the menu you get when interacting with the writ board, you can choose which writ to take, have the AIO give you the same choice. No menu change required. If you choose blacksmith, you get the exact same experience as if you walked up to a conventional blacksmith station.

How about the other way around?

10k writs and you get a station that can craft all sets. >:)

Would also be nice to see different styles of stations, not that small uniform playmobile furniture. For example the iron oven from Vivec, or the big metal tables from Clockwork City.

I think a station that can craft all sets would kinda kill the whole point.

Many make stations so that writ collection is easier, often to buy another station to make writs easier ... if you saved all your writs for the mother of all station, it would somewhat diminish the value of not only getting craft stations, but the writs itself.
