Spell Strategist vs x

Hey everyone,
So I just got a gold inferno, neck and two rings of Spell Strategist all bis traits, enchants etc.
So the question is.. How much of a dps increase (for magblade) is front barring Spell Strategist vs front barring Mothers Sorrow? I have watched a few videos (made by people who run in the best guilds in the game) and most have shown about a 0.5 to 2% dps increase using it over other previous front barring sets.
Why am I asking? Just wondering if I should sell these for a huge profit or use them. I have 20m currently so gold is not a issue but I want to know the avg dps % increase before I bind these to my magblade. Especially since the price of these items will plummet over the next few days.
I do about 50-53k dps on my skele phases at the moment. I know about the whole "Spell Strategist is less dps in aoe" etc and more want to know about single target dps.
Please only answer this if you are a magblade and have tested it yourself and know for sure or have good knowledge based off your expertise in the game

Haquor✭✭✭✭✭Perhaps a good question before you dump a million on the set.
Also since you are loaded with gold why not just keep it anyway. A small increase is a small increase in dps and its a set to add to the completed collection.1 -

royo✭✭✭It's the best front bar single target mag set in the game. 2% increase seems fair. The problem is that you want cleave on both mini trials and score groups will be loading up on stam for the non-mini trials. It's a nice set but not a must have right now.0

Pyr0xyrecuprotite✭✭✭✭✭If you are already doing 50k+ dps on a target, there's no need for you to try cheese an extra percent or two.
I'd recommend selling the spell strategist stuff for a profit, while prices are still hot.2
