Btw where's the sarcasm? You achieved something and posted about it
Except fishing in Murkmire has been bugged, and therefore unobtainable, up until the latest patch.
As for the sarcasm, I guess you needed to have followed the forums for the last couple of weeks to get that one.
Oh no, I GET it...but it's a stupid point to be making, since a lot of people share their achievements here and everyone meets it with open arms. It's only endgame PvE where people get all pissy about things.
Hodor has every right to share their achievements
(Plus if fishing was bugged maybe you should have done weeks of extensive testing to report to ZOS so that it can be fixed so that it can actually be done on release, just like Hodor did)
Dude... Duuuude... 😂 Why, why, do you think all achieve shared are welcomed but the high end pve ones aren't? That's because it's not sharing, it's bragging! Hehe
Can't you see that?
Also, can't you see that this post is nothing else if not a bait for toxic/cancerous elitist apologists such as yourself? Hehe
My post will be deleted but I hope you read it first because you made me laugh a bit with your naiveness. And for that, thanks.
Have a great day, good human. It's Saturday, after all!
In time... It's a public forum, as long as you follow the rules, you ha r the right to post anything here, really. And everyone ALSO has the right to reply with their opinion, doesn't matter if they are good or bad. You post it, you handle it, right? Bragging and bashing are like hateful siblings, always chasing after each other. There's no stopping it.
(God, I love these topics. Perfect to reply when I'm bored. :P)
That's not really bragging any more than anything else is bragging.
If "I got 1000 CP! Yay me!" and "Woohoo, fishes!" is sharing, why is "Woohoo, we were the first ones to clear vBRP! Here's a picture of the skin!" bragging?
I'm really curious, what's the core difference here?
One is mindless grinding, the other is weeks of practice combined with countless bug reports to even get the content to a level where it is able to be cleared without massive bugs. Why am I a cancerous elitist apologist for saying that there is no reason to flame Hodor and bite the hands that feed you guys, but you are the white knight hero for battling those terrible endgame players who seek to ruin all of the content in the game by...completing it before everyone else?
Once again, please explain the difference. And also explain to me why I'm a cancerous elitist simply for defending people that are being attacked for being better players than others are?
I'll leave now but I'll hold the door for the others.Carbonised wrote: »

You don't think we reported a million bugs on the PTS already? Don't blame us for ZOS' incompetence. And don't blame us for ZOS prioritizing fixing arena bugs over questing, fishing and other bugs.
And tanks for calling fishing mindless grinding. Truly heartwarming ^^

The reason to scoff at hodor is the test server provides crutches.
Sure, the pc platform characters are copied over, but more useful is the template option for a new test character. Those templates come with all the goodies imaginable. A bag with all overland sets in the game, for all the possible gear slots plus all weapons, in all useful traits. A bag with the same ‘include all’ for monster sets. Trial sets - all the perfected stuff in gold. All traits researched. A transmute geode of infinite transmute stones. If something needed improvement, thousands of tempers etc are in the template bags.
And so on. Including any new gear.
Everything in the crown store costs 1crown.
So everyone can make a template character. Log in and walk naked straight into the new content, then pull the best in slot gear for any playstyle they want from their inventory. Respec Scrolls cost 1 crown, so respec skill morphs on the fly. They are handed a million gold, so respec champ points on the fly.
The strategy is simple. Walk in with 4 of each role in diff BiS gear, see which works best with the first trash group. Adjust, using the template gear. Same with the first boss - it’s hard to kill any group that has 4 tanks and 4 healers, so people have a really easy time writing down what fight mechanic happens at which time or percentage point. There is no pressure. If the first clear takes 6 hours, then each combat along every inch of the place has been mapped and measured and diagrammed and cost them NOTHING because of the infinite gear / gold / etc.
The template option grants the player all the possible rewards for perfect completion of all the content. It would be like if you had a backpack with infinite money and could pull out any object you wanted, and had all knowledge in the world downloaded into your head. Put together a team of 12 such people, each with those backpacks, and any task becomes a lot easier.
Furthermore, such backpacks in the test server allow people to avoid time wasted on costly experimentation on the live server.
That’s why the “First!” post is a tacky brag. They didn’t have the limitations of normal characters, or even of normal players. Would anyone imagine doing a race change in the middle of a boss fight to switch up the effects of their rotation? That’s a ridiculous idea for normal play, an outrageous expense of crowns that cost real money. But on the test server, it’s free money and so even the dollar costs fall away.
If they had to test with just their live characters, at least they would have to go get gear they didn’t already have rather than pull it from the magic gear bag. They wouldn’t be able to use the best new gear to beat the new content the first time.
They temporarily are granted the powers of Superman, use the powers to map a trial in near-perfect safety, and are hailed as awesome for the skill? Nah. The test server is ESO’s miniature god-mode. Let’s see how people do without such assistance.

Bro lol. You don't think they already had most of the sets they might have wanted?
It's Hodor ffs. (Btw, you can't race change in game, you have to log out. You actually have no idea what you're even talking about). They have money, they have gear, and they have experience. The conditions of the PTS basically mean nothing to them.
Next, please
Nice job ignoring 95% of the post. You should be in politics
95% of their post was the PTS is a crutch. I addressed all of it. Just because my post wasnt as long, does not mean I ignored him
Doesnt make their threads any less of a bragging tho. And before you answer with some "sharing ur achievements" nonsense, you should really check the definition of bragging.
