Hey all,
I've just started playing my DK DPS character more in PvE and wow, just like everyone says, it is painfully hard to find groups as a DPS. I was so spoiled always playing as a Tank.
So, with that in mind, I was wondering if anyone else would be interested in a different type of PvE challenge.
How about running dungeons as four tanky-self heal-dps. Maybe one or two people would slot a group heal or healing type monster helm set, but otherwise, run the content "GW2" style -- no tank, no healer. There are many gear sets that would support this type of play style (i.e. dps/self heal sets): Livewire, Knight's Errant, Seventh Legion, Leeching Plate, Bahara's Curse, Brands of Imperium, and others...
I'm also interested in theme build groups as a fun way to run normal dungeons with a twist:
all Werewolf group
all group uses fire dps only (or lightening only, ice only, or poison only,...)
all group wears pet proc monster sets like Defiler and Maw of Infernal for monster mayhem fun
all group wears infernal guardian and red mountain armor sets (plus one other set of their choice) for flying fireball fun
just different crazy themes that all four people do together.
Here is a YouTube video I found of a group running the normal mode, Serpent Ophidian trial all as Werewolves. They are not perfect, but shows just how much fun "normal" content can be with a theme build group.
