Some AoEs and abilities should indicate if they are still active (since in a group it can get crazy)

During trials and dungeons, sometimes we often see players using the same abilities and we can get really confused if the one that we cast is still active or not, like liquid lightning/lightning flood, wall of elements, and many more.

IMO, every ability with a duration like this should subtle "shine" on the ability bar while the effect is active, with a visual effect like covering the icon (like a subtle filter, or something, that is more easy to track).

On console it's really hard to track some abilities, even the ones that buffs you, like power surge (we have to check our hands to make sure but our hands are covered with a lot of effects, and the active buffs that are displaying I have a lot of buffs/debuffs stacking during a fight that i can't manage to find the one that I'm looking for easily, the same for the pet scamp pulse for example, that often expires and I don't notice and I'm trying to track the scamp pulse buff on the bar to manage when I have to recast it, but with a lot of buffs and debuffs going on I can't find it easily and the fight can get crazy making it hard to see). Also, I chose to display only temporary buffs/debuffs, to not display unnecessary buffs and effects.

IDK if you have the same problem on PC, but we have this issue on console.

    And this isn't solved by turning on outgoing damage text?

    I completly with you on the issue, but what I hope as a solution is much greater.

    On PC, they have completly customizable add-ons that lets them display buff timers in a pre-dertermined spot on their screen. It can flash a couple of second before it expires. They have a LA counter for NB's bow procs. And probably many more that I'm not aware of.

    All console has is a mess of a buff-tracking bar, where every buff active is displayed, and that continually move depending on their remaining duration. Which means, if you cast a buff that also applies 2 secondary effects, 3 squares just appeared on you bar. And I'm speaing of miniature images that you have to memorize to associate them with the corresponding buff / secondary effect. That also means that if you want to see how much time is remaining on buff x, you have to visually scan the whole bar, normally constitued of 20+ tiny images, until you find buff x's image. This is a mess.

    Please, give us a fully customizable interface like PC's add-ons. I don't often make demands to ZOS, but this is a major pain point.

    LOL. No? With dots and variable dmg sources that I have, no. You can't track scamp pulse attack, liquid lightning, wall of elements, light attacks, etc by all reading text, dmg output text all get on top of each other you can't really tell which one is what

    And I complained about power surge that doesn't do any dmg as well...
