Endless screen loading has not been fixed since 2014

Seriously, get off your asses and fix this, it's been over 4 years since the release.
It's a big problem if you're dps, waiting on 40+ minute queue and don't dare change zones or enter a delve because you might get stuck (and there's a good chance at that).

    Where do you experience such things is I'm cydrolli delves or overland? When you say endless do you mean long truly endless?

    It's been worse of late. I had to force stop the game several times since Murkmire after getting the infinite load screen porting into dungeons. Given that it seems to take forever these days to log in, naturally you get back into the game only to find you've been kicked after queuing 20mins for a random dungeon. Between this and the fps issue, it's quite apparent that ESO took a performance hit with Murkmire

    it's not a bug it's a feature, that way you can start a game or leave a room and then run errands for anywhere between 5 minutes to 1/2 an hour. thanks to this my house has never been so clean.

    ok.. so its actually getting ridiculous.
    I have had to force stop the game 3 times just today alone due to infinite load screens. 1 out of every 3 jumps seems to cause the infinite load screen. Anyone else noticing a recent spike in this bug??
    Murkmire has a been a disaster of a patch!!

    1 hour 23 minutes in queue (DLC dungeon).

    I click accept to join the dungeon.

    Endless or long load screens are a problem with this game and have been for some time. What players should be asking is why ZOS has continually turned a blind eye to the issue as well as numerous other issues with their game.

    It's getting worse for me too at the moment. Sometimes it's a delve or dungeon, sometimes even one of my houses (which I entered 15 minutes previous without any problems...) The loadings screen takes at least 5 minutes, sometimes I have to close and restart the whole client since I don't seem to get out of the loading screen at all.
    I have been thinking of subscribing as I am really into crafting and could use the craft bag - but this is taking so much of my joy out of this game that I'll hold onto my money for now. :(

    exactly the same problem, in addition to the latency/lag problems.
    Getting stuck in endless loadingscreens since Murkmire.
    "endless" not in terms of "takes too long" (longest was 8 minutes to enter my empty room at the Inn in Mournhold), but "endless" in terms of "must close and restart the game", then try to enter the Delve/Dungeon/House/Questlocation again to rince and repeat the "restart game" again and finaly give up on it and go do something else.
    It happens since Murkmire release, and it's beyond ridiculous.

    Its usually caused by out of date addons, as evidenced by similar threads following each release of major content. And the solution has always been the same - get rid of addons until you find the one(s) causing your troubles. Seriously, google "ESO infinite loading screens" and you'll find tons of articles posting of the problem after each big release, peppered with a few pointing towards the real culprit of old addons. So lets correct the above quote...

    well, thank you for your opinion. But, I play without any addons.
    Soooo... the usual "outdated addons" is out...

    Also, some of us console plebs are also experiencing it, sooooo...

    Except after 20 minutes it cancels the queue, so would be impossible to have an hour and 23 mins in queue.

    Playing off of an SSD helps alleviate the issue somewhat, on console. Possibly on PC as well. In the past it was related to pulling assets from the drive IIRC.

    In my case the infinite loading screen came from a bad wifi router, when I removed the router the problem was solved. I got tired of having to reset my wifi router every 2-3 weeks so I just removed it completely! >_<

    I play on Xbox with the game installed to an external SSD. I occasionally get unusually long load screens but I can not recall the last time I had an infinite one.

    My computer is connected directly to the modem that my ISP provided now, I removed the wifi router that connects inbetween the modem and the computer so that means I cannot have wifi for my other devices now! :( Should I call it a wifi adapter to avoid confusion? Because when I bought the thing it was marked wifi router on the box.
