Odd: Computation of purple and golden Set Boni is not correct when mixed

Bug A: There is currently some odd behavior with the computation of Set Boni when purple and golden gear is mixed.
Bug B: A golden Staff is not equal to 2 golden armor pieces.

Most likely this is also true for blue, green and white gear, which I did not test.

Set tested: Mothers Sorrow
Bonus: 2 pieces Magicka
All Purple Bonus: 1058 Magicka
All Gold Bonus: 1096 Magicka

Expected Behaviour A: total_magicka = (n_gold_pieces * 1096 + n_purple_pieces * 1058)/(n_gold_pieces + n_purple_pieces)
Expected Behaviour B: A staff counts as two pieces.


Test: Equiped different combinations of purple jewellery, golden armor and golden staff.
The results can be seen below. The numbers in () are the expected results computed with the formula above.

Result A: You can see the difference of the values
Result B: You can see a difference if you complare for example 2 gold 3 purple for Staff+Jewellery and Armor + Jewellery. These rows are italic.
Also you can see that the Difference 2g1p, 2g2p, and 2g3p for Staff is -12,-6,-25 and for Armor -0,-6,-2. Hence the boni with an equiped staff must be computed differently, and obviously are worth.

Armor + 1 staff + jewellery (Here 4 gold = 1 staff + 2 armor)
4 gold 1 purple : 1083 (1088) -4
3 gold 2 purple : 1071 (1080) -9
3 gold 1 purple : 1083 (1086) -3

Example: In the Screenshot you can see the usage of 1 golden staff, 1 golden armor and 1 purple necklace.
This combination results in 1083 Max Magicka.

Note, that the computation of the max Magicka works correctly with the value from the tooltip.
Here:
((7958 + 7104 + [1083 + 868 + 840]) *1.2) + 4936) * 1.26 = 33213

Base Magicka CP160: 7958
Attribute Magicka (64 Points * 111) = 7104
Set Bonus: 1083
Armor Glyph: 868
Necklace Arcane: 840
CP Multiplicator: 1.2 // max 1.2 >300CP
Blue Max/Max Bufffood: 4936
Magicka Multiplikator: 1.26 (Magicka Flood 0.08, Inner Light 0.07, Dark Elf 0.09, Light Armor Undaunted 0.02)

    I've always noticed something odd about the computation, and this thread renewed my curiosity about the issue, so I decided to conclusively test the system, and I managed to figure out exactly how it works. There actually no bugs involved, it's just very counter-intuitive.

    I still would consider this a bug, especially with the differences in the behavior of with and without a weapon involved.

    It's actually not an issue with weapons. For example, if you had 3 body pieces and 2 one-handed weapons, it would behave the same way as 5 body pieces.

    The deciding factor is the number of items comprising the set on your loadout, and, underlying that, what proportion of those items is gold.
