Zos search item in guild store is too hard

Snipress✭✭✭I don't know. For example, like when I'm trying to find a specific motif page; I have to go through a *** ton I don't want. I wish there was an easier way to search for the thing you're looking for.Finding beauty in negative spaces.

✭✭✭✭The current event just shows how badly a free text search function is needed. Just look at motifs. There's PAGES of them in every guild store.
For motifs at least there needs to be a function to exclude already owned motifs from results. That would be simple to implement given the query already returns the information.4 -

✭Yep. This is one of the most ridiculous things in ESO which I just don't understand how it could be done like that (along with indie-like quality control for new patches/updates).
There's 500 guild members * 30 slots = 15000 items can be listed in one particular guild store. And all ZOS could suggest to consumers is a silly five category filters. It's like,"Hey, with our unique modern advanced search system you don't have to go through all 15k items, you just have to go through 3k (6-9k if you're not sure what category the item belongs to)! Have fun. Best regards. ZOS team."One of the two of us definitely has gone mad. It only remains to define whether this one is the whole world or just me.

✭This feature is more or less already implemented in their crown store Housing Editor, right? Press triangle and you get a text entry search, type some letters contained in what you're looking for and voila... it filters through hundreds of furnishings from different categories and shows you matching results to spend your crowns on. I get that the trader interface is older and prob coded differently but come on... the fact that this extremely basic and desperately needed feature is STILL apparently not even on the dev's radar is incredible.PS4 NA

Yessss I find myself wishing this all the time. Please let us toggle the search to eliminate motifs/recipes/plans we have already learned.PS4 NA

because i noticed they have listings available in both cost amount and 2ndly by name in alphabet.
so if they simply remove the cost and allow us to go by alphabetical order it could be a good start to gain some kind of a better search.1 -

✭✭✭✭Its also about time they let you search/filter based on the gear sets - I mean just start typing part of the name and the set options pop up..
Nowadays with transmutes and being able to increase item quality with crafting, quality and trait (which you CAN search on) are much less important that what set you're looking for.
Also needs adding to your inventory and bank too..
