FPS drops since Murkmire

I have a feel with every update since Murkmire. game is having less and less fps. today update just even made it worse

Im not Macbook user. Todays update just made everything worse. 10 fps less in city of Alinor, in my house 25 fps less? whats going on?

Agreed, Ive never had to tweak any gfx settings in all the years Ive been playing - until Murkmire came out. Game still runs normally in every zone except Murkmire - where I routinely experience large FPS drop - it seems to occur during sunrise and sunset most noticeably - and gets worse the closer my view angle is to the sun.

Exactly!!!!

Although my fps is still bad through out other zones when they were not before.

If you have HDD (not SSD!).... have you tried to run defragmentation?

After each patch game works slower for me, but it goes back to normal at once after I "sort out" my PC's "brain" with my good old Auslogics-BootSpeed.


If you have SSD, then disregard my suggestion.

A bit late to the party but:I have the same problem after the patch.
I get 5-20 fps less in some places,even in places that i never experienced any fps drops in.

Before the patch,i was able to play with constant 60FPS everywhere outside citys.
In a city,i would have maybe 55fps,on high settings.
Now i lowered my settings a bit and still get less fps than before.
Also,i always had 60 fps in a dungeon,now,for the first time,i got 50fps in a part of a dungeon that worked just fine before.

My pc is the same,didnt change anything.
