TES Legends. It's fun and you can get a few games or story parts done whilst patching happens.I have learnt to sit here and wait I just cant stop clock watching and I keep trying to login its been an hour and a half since servers went down, just in case anyone wasn't watching the clock
You know you can't please everyone with this? There will always be someone who doesn't like the time of maintenance...

I get where you comin from, however keep in mind that they have a normal workday, like other office based companies.
Furthermore they have to maintenance / Patch 2 Server per day, and both are on different continets.
Patches and Maintenance for EU are done in the morning for us, normally starting at 8 or 9 am UTC.
(which for me is 10 or 11 am.)
Idk how its in the US, but I assume they try to put it in the morning hours aswell, since then the population would be lowest.
And they wont change the maintenance times just because they'd loose 2 subs, they gain enough new subs / per day, so they dont care.

I agree with you in general which is why I have said that 9-10 AM EST would be the best for maintenance because at that time of day most people in NA are either sleeping or just getting up to go to work or school and thus probably not on ESO. I am a night shift worker and thus the only hours of the day I can play this game are between I AM EST and 7 AM. I have spent hundreds of dollars on this game in the crown store and I just wish it had better maintenance hours is all.

That said, I can't respect a company who charges rent in the form of subscription and needs weekly maintenances in 2018. Arenanet doesn't even kick you out of the game to apply patches-- ZoS must have bargain bin programmers.
I also went inactive for an entire year because like clockwork every day 1 hour into my session, my latency would run 600-800 and just stay there for 1.5 hours. I tested my ISP extensively for several weeks and found the only irregularity to be ESO. I imagine that ZoS looks at these concerns and just writes certain times of day off.

What are you talking about?
It is usually ONCE a week.
Recently there were extra maintenance days, yes (hello, new dlc and event is going on!?), but don't act like this accours every day, because it does not.
Or let's just tell ZOS never do maintenance again, never fix bugs, never put in new content and let's live and play together with the bugs, huh?
