How do i increase Monster Helmet damage?

Im using Iceheart for my probs not viable Ice DPS build. I would assume CP boosts its effectiveness. I know that "increase damage done" effects it as my numbers on it go up on my front bar with 3 animal companions skills on advanced species.

I have (Iceheart obvs) Necropotence(jewels and 2 armor) and Julianos(frontbar staff and 3 armor). planning to get vMA ice staff for my backbar. https://imgur.com/a/w2QSKmF

What is everything i can do to boost it from its current 973 dps to over 1000+?

    For Monster sets with a damage element to them, You can use elemental modifiers, like Race passives, or CP passives that include boosting frost damage. I am not currently sure, but I believe CP notes that increase DoT's or direct damage may also effect it, depending on how the monster set provides it's damage. Increasing the quality of the armor piece, from Blue to purple for example, will also increase it's effect.

    I have 75 points in elemental damage for that 14% increased frost damage, im a high elf for 4% frost damage and a warden for 6% frost damage. Im not sure if it counts as direct damage but if it did, maybe master at arms might work? What else can i do?

    I believe that may be it. Monster sets scale with their item quality, Champion Points and some passives that boost their damage type or healing value.

    Iceheart has never been a top tier monster set for damage, @ESO_Nightingale.

    Depending on your role, don’t rule out other monster sets ... or end game weapons that are a 2-pc. Such as the new destro staff in Blackrose Prison. Again, depends on your role. Ice Mage?

    it does not count as direct damage. it does not proc Ice Furnace set.

    Not related to damage, but Bastion CP improves Iceheart's damage shield strength. When I use Iceheart in PvE with 56 point in Bastion I get a 10k+ damage shield. I mainly use Iceheart for my utility DPS build that makes it easier for me to tank normal and vanilla vet dungeons.

    If you wanted to focus on being a ranged ice DPS build monster sets like Slimecraw (don't need to rely on a healer for minor berserk and can help you reach desired crit levels) or Molag Kena (gives default and proc based spell damage, but risky if you do not have a rotation and build that can consistently sustain it) might be better.

    • Parse Food for PvE:(DPS) Ghastly Eye Bowl (increases Max Magicka by 4592 and Magicka Recovery by 459 for 2 hours).
    • Gold/Purple Food for Sorc PvP and Meme Tanking:(PvP) Clockwork Citrus Filet (increases Max Health by 3326, Health Recovery by 406 [useful if stage 1 vampire], Max Magicka by 3080, and Magicka Recovery by 338 for 2 hours). Witchmother's Potent Brew (Increase Max Magicka by 2856, Max Health by 3094, and Magicka Recovery by 315 for 2 hours.
    • Trash Potions when feeling cheap: Regular CP150 Essence of Magicka pots that I obtain frequently from playing the game or Crown Tri-Restoration Potion obtained from dailies.
    • Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar/arcanist will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

    @Taleof2Cities which shouldn't come as much of a surprise, given it's a defensive set. It's a reasonable addition to a DPS looking to make themselves a bit meatier, that damage tick isn't enough to care about unless it's procing something else.
