"Civilized men are more discourteous than savages because they know they can be impolite without having their skulls split, as a general thing.”

I dove into all content I could for pvp and pve, I made a name for myself across many guilds, and I can comfortably say I was pretty good at everything I did in game. I even created and released multiple addons over this last year as my way to give back to the community.
The problem for me after all this time is really the way ZOS treats this game. I've watched it go from a virtual masterpiece of adventuring, community, fresh pvp, meaningful class identity, and a seemingly benevolent overlord (ZOS)... to essentially a broken, exploitative grind designed to suck as much money from the playerbase as possible before they become disillusioned and quit.
From constant pointless events, to 70+ motif grinds (available now for a limited time for real $$$!!!), to loot boxes, to daily login rewards, to a constant content release schedule with a tendency to HORRENDOUSLY break vast aspects of the game for weeks or months at a time, to effectively pointless real money limited time offer in game houses, to the class rep system that ZOS literally ignores (Sorry @Joy_Division and other reps for thinking you guys didn't have all of our backs)... this game is a pathetic shell of the heart and soul it once had.
This Murkmire patch and frankly most other major balance changes had such an air of "daddy knows best" by Wrobel and ZOS in general, and I'm just completely sick of it. The nerfs to magsorc this round and the homogenizing of all class identities for the last several years has pretty much just come to a head for me. And look, I can "adapt" to the changes just fine if I really wanted to, and some things I won't be able to do as easily, or I'll have to modify builds, etc, but it's just not fun to even try any more.
tl;dr ZOS is the cure for ESO addiction
