This is to fix the problem with monster corpses not desapwning. It's a real problem for Imperfect2 -

It's a necessary evil to take the servers offline for a fix.
But it also to mention that this was something they broke with the prior patch and that in times of an ongoing event and a new dlc drop 3 maints a week are a bit cumbersome.
Or to say it in other words: if you do it right the first time, you don't have to do it twice. Or thrice.7 -

Everyone has been crying the biggest, wettist, saltiest, tears since the Murcmire patch. I totally understand why though, there are a lot of things that need fixing for sure!
But, when they do maintenance, obviously to address some of these issues... People, like you, still continue to cry....
I really think people to jump on the Tear Train sometimes because of inner issues within themselves.. Issues that don't even have anything to do with the game.. Because, crying when things need fixing, and crying when they are trying to fix said things.. Will never, ever, make psychological sense to me. LOL

We will be pushing a hotfix tomorrow, Thursday, October 25, to resolve the issue with monster corpses not desapwning on the PC/Mac servers. This hotfix does require downtime, so we will be bringing down the North American and European PC/Mac servers for maintenance at 6am EDT. We anticipate the maintenance to last 2-3 hours.
The console servers will not be impacted by this maintenance. We will update this thread when the maintenance is complete.

Which proves that there's no such thing like an "ESO community". There are only sub-groups who share the same view on the game and enjoy it the same way. Usually guilds. You can feel them ingame much more than in the forums.

Yea it is quite funny they don't do enough internal testing , maintenance are supposed to be on mondays , but its happened so much more frequently lately, it can get a little frustrating you can't get any gametime in before work or after work.2 -

Multiple maintenances are normal in big update weeks. The pain this time is that it overlapses with an event that has extremely tight timer constraints.

eklhaftb16_ESO✭✭✭✭✭Of course, do an emergency patch to hotfix some corpses. Meanwhile, people who lost a half of their banked items after the patch can wait for another month or so. Corpses are so much more important. :P
(I wonder if they can actually fix both those problems in the same patch...)1 -
Wizhunter✭✭Only problem I had with Murkmire was a sudden drop in fps after playing it for a while, dropped to something like 14. As soon as I left Murkmire my fps went back up to the 99 I usually get.
Quite liked my time in Murkmire but won't be going back there with my alts if the fps drops so drastically.
Whats the reason for the maintenance this time anyone ?
