Housing Furnishing Interface Suggestions

I don’t frequent this portion of the forums, so forgive me if there are already threads for these.
Please consider adding a “free camera” mode to furnishing that is unbound by the restrictions player characters have in navigating their homes. The camera should be able to rise or drop to any allowable elevation, travel through walls and objects, have a very fine movement mode, a normal movement mode and a very fast movement mode.
Also, a command to reset an object to its default orientation would be helpful.
Lastly, some form of grid view overlay for aligning objects would be great. Something similar to what is used in 3D modeling programs. Possibly even an option while in furnishing mode that displays polygon lines.
