I see people whining all over forums saying “i cant solo nothing nomore” really? U cant solo delves and public dungeons without a pet? Then your bad, after all pets are invincible in any tough content in game ( trials dungeons and group content. )

So if u complaining about pets then you simply need to play another game.

Also heard people say i have 5 mag sorcs ( not just sorcs, mag sorcs) understand 2 at most but 5? U doing something wrong my man learn to play the class before u trash it.

1) I created 5 mag sorcs for the same reason I buy pop corn before watching a movie. I like pop corn, it's not a crime, really.

2) Pets die 20 times in a group of 8, with 2 healers. Hardly a "solo nothing no more" scenario. They also die doing dolmens along with healers and other players. They also die doing public dungeons.

If this is "though content" for you, then I have no more words.

OP you clearly have no ability for alternate perspective.

Pets are the staple of Sorcs, if we take Templars Ritual and Rune and Protection buffs away then say “sucks for you, the previously easily completed content is now barely possible, git gud”, that’s exactly the same as what you’re doing.

So far my Pet Sorc experience:

Overland content - no pet deaths, no character deaths.
Most overland bosses incl. Summerset with people and solo - 0-4 pet deaths, no character deaths.
BGs PVP - mostly same as before Murkmire, no unusual pet deaths.
Cyrodiil Vivec - same as before.

Bear in mind I use empowered ward 40% for these findings. So in my opinion - yes, people are moaning without trying to become better. And no I didn't try vMA. I understand it's the "pinnacle" of solo entertainment, but it's only ONE arena that is probably played by 1% of players in total. I will try nMA just for fun.

HOWEVER, where I did notice nerfs is my regular super-duper non-pet Sorceress. She's using hardened, harness and healing wards and went from almost god-mode to frequent deaths. In BGs & Cyrodiil I have to be much more cautious and shield more.
In boss fights, Hardened ward is melted almost instantly while healing ward doesn't have initial heal so sometimes I'm left in the cold and have to up 3 shields at the same time. I did change some glyphs for her, have more HP now and higher shields so will test it further.

But in my current findings, Pet Sorc is more survivable and is far from not being able to sustain.

Most of the people speaking out about these stupid, shortsighted, poorly thought out changes don't care about being able to complete public delves and dungeons because they've already done so dozens or even hundreds of times. This won't change with the update, because, at end-game, these things are still laughably easy.

I have every expectation that I'll still be able to beat Fungal Grotto solo on my sorc (non-pet, mag) after the changes, but what fun is that?

What I don't have faith in is my being able to equally contribute to trials or PVP, which is all there is once you've been playing a while. If ZOS had coupled these shield nerfs with other changes that improved other known, identified, and generally agreed upon pain points for the class, that would be one thing, but instead, they hit us with a bunch of changes that only weaken us and exacerbate the pain points (such as sustain).

It's not whining. Instead of coming on here and bashing other players, why don't you provide some more constructive feedback. I've played on my petsorc build for many years now, and honestly going from being able to progress the build to the point of completing content with ease, now I'm set back at least 2 years in progress, because of a poor decision to nerf every *** thing in the game. It is trash, because most of the skills have been weakened. I don't know how you can point out that we're bad when the mechanics of the game have changed. We got gud, and we were made worse by a game mechanic change!

1 I have 4 mag sorcs, need to make a 5th. Pve, pvp, tank, stam, the 5th would be a healer
2 You arnt solo'ing anything if your heal (twilight) is dead and take 1.2 seconds to re summon before you can even get a heal
3 If their is a problem with my pets, a core part of builds for this class since day 1, has a problem that makes those builds problematic. Yes I am going to complain about it
