Is there a way I can just pass on Murkmire and all the terrible senseless class changes with it?

Like seriously, do the devs even play the game or just roll dice and kill classes. I get change isn't easy, but change the game to make it better not worse. The game is just dying at an accelerated rate at this point. Give away all the free houses or DLCs you want, it doesn't change your competence of the game

yes. In the windows control panel section called "Add-remove programs" rightclick the game and select "uninstall"

No. Not unless you stop playing ESO.

But this is nothing new... every once in a while, they make some sweeping "rebalancing" changes, and people whine their ars... uhm... lower back off about it.
And then they are done venting, and learn the new incarnation, and find new ways to adapt to those changes, and go back to playing the game.
It happened before.
It will happen again.

Better to learn how to stop worrying and live with the changes.

How do you exactly adapt when your pets - in ESO you have no control on them - just keep dying forever and ever?

Stop using pets. I mean it's not what you should have to do, but it's what you should do if you want to adapt to the changes.
