While you can always raise your shield by redistributing your attributes, food, and buffs that increase your health; your pets on the other hand are stuck at a fixed rate depending which morph you take since they don't have anything that modifies their health except your level. With Empowered Ward the Twilight Matriarch will have exactly 6,355 shields and the Volatile Familiar will have exactly 6,673 shields. Also... what happened to the increased duration to 14 seconds?

The increased duration was to compensate for the Cast Time they wanted ti introduce. The reverted the cast time change therefor the duration change as well.

Increase your base health. I was seeing shields around 11k, but my health is a little north of 23k on my magsorc.

Increasing your health does not increase your pet's health or your pet's shield amount, the Ward's also apply the 40% / 50% rate based on their health when it applies a shield, not yours.

Didn't notice that. Also, come to think of it, I thought my clanfear had more than 10k health... So, what does that scale with?

Clanfear had something like 20k or 30k health. Are you really seeing just 10k?

Too often is an understatement. The warden bear dies in exactly 3 hits to world bosses lol (that's not hyperbole, I actually tested it).

Yeah it should have more than 10k health.

23k sounds right, but I don't spend a lot of time scrutinizing HP bars.

"The red pill and its opposite, the blue pill, are a popular cultural meme, a metaphor representing the choice between:

Knowledge, freedom, uncertainty and the brutal truths of reality (red pill)
Security, happiness, beauty, and the blissful ignorance of illusion (blue pill)"

Insight to Agree to Awesome Ratio = 1:6.04:2.76 as of 1/25/2019

Compared to people that I've ignored = I am 18% more insightful, 20% less agreeable, and 88% more awesome.

My guess is that there is some bug. There is no way this is intentional.

My warden bear still has its usual 25k health, but it appears to have no resistance. It dies almost instantly to world bosses. Even random overland trash mobs kill it in just a few hits.

I must say that this new feature to combat all those petsorc bots running around farming nodes, leather and stuff looks really promising. /s

I thought our pets were supposed to pick up our resistances now.

Well, now scamp dies to 3 normal NPC hits. I mean, you cannot even do an ultra-farmed Al Akir dolmen without seeing your pets dying.
