Programming issue 656788 disappearing items

I have 15 characters. I used to be able to save intricate and other unneeded items to my bank. Then I could either sell these items or help level a newbie character. For more than 2 weeks the majority of these items are deleted or otherwise disappear so I get nothing for them. This does not seem to affect jewelry and enchant items, but does effect anvil class items, clothing class items and and wood working class items. BAH.

You're putting items in your bank or a guild bank? Are you by chance deconstructing them? Items in your personal bank are seen while interacting with the blacksmithing, clothier, woodworking, and jewelry crafting tables and can be deconstructed there unless they're locked.

Edit: Enchanting affected as well.

Number_51 mentions a very logical thing. Even if you stash these items in the bank, whoever is deconstructing these will have these items available to be deconstructed (even if they're at the bank). Are you 100% sure this is not the case?

15 characters? Can you have that many alts on an account?

Are you using add-ons if you're on PC ?
The update of one of your add-ons could have cause this change.

There is in game lock you could use to prevent decon or destroy item by accident. You can also use add on (at least PC) which have more level of lock system for items and even auto lock items.

There are also filter which add icons that you switch between bank, inventory (bag) or both when you are at craft stations.

You could use CraftStore which can decon all non-crafted glyphs or all glyphs. It will show items from bank also, so need to keep a check where things are.

Inventory Insight let you know everything about where everything is being stored (also house storage - Chest in house), your currencies (incl where you have writs) and keep track between characters where and what you have looted or equipped.

II can be shown at same time as your inventory, craft station or with CraftStore, so you can compare things.

TIp:
Put your intricate in a house storage instead. As far as I know only items in bank will be shown unfiltered at craftstation
with your bag inventory. Maybe you have collected one house storage for free with only 30 slots, already?

I would also recommend to use at least LUI Extended chat announcement module as it makes it easier to see if you have deceonned something by accident or where it did go. I use it to keep track for almost everything in this game from looting to transfer of curriencies etc. I turned off the ingame loot announcement in corner and now I just press a key to show open chat window to see what I have got from looting.

You can turn off all other modules from Settings, if you don't want to keep track of buffs/debuffs, units (=attribute bars) or have text floating to show what kind of damage or heals that are running during a fight.
