I resummoned them, and they died again within 5 seconds.

I would prefer your pets drop dead every time you enter a city or crafting station
and you block all and everything with your dumb pets

Probably most pet sorcs would wish their pets died when they enter a city. Believe me, I hated it enough to swap to non-pet build xD
Did they revert the aggro nerf (Not taunt, that was removed a while ago)?My clannfear died 4 times on Sunhold public dungeon boss, not group one. He died freaking 4 times, he was supposed to tank things! At least taunt is working (not sure if this is that taunt they nerfed tho)..
Power surge is excellent against trash packs but not very good then fighting an single boss. Then you use shields, o waitI just ran though a public dungeon, normal dungeon, and normal Maelstrom Arena. Since I didn't have access to my 3rd bar from Overload, I dropped Empowered Ward and moved Power Surge there. I run double pets, so if things got dicey I would use the Twilight's heal. I think I used it about 5 times total in all of that content. With enough crit damage from all the dots, Power Surge does enough to keep you healed up unless you let yourself get beat on by a bunch of baddies while not attacking. I moved all my points out of Bastion and put them in other defensive stars too.
I still really wish they would make the pets single slotted, though. *sigh*
For anyone confused about why this is happening. Pets used to have high resistances. Now they scale based on your own, and since 99% of pet users are in light armor, they scale very poorly.
Solution: Pets are immune to damage in pve. None of this, oh they are immune here, but not there BS

Because when i last tested this on PTS (about 2 weeks ago), the Clannfear did *not* draw any aggro at all, not even from trash mobs.
PS: Seriously ZOS, the taunt/aggro was the only reason to even run the Clannfear ...

I told you so just doesn't do this any justice.
Been complaining about the Pet situation since i tested my Pet Sorc on the PTS weeks ago.
Time to switch to another character, gonna park my Pet Sorc for a while ...
Well at least your pets aren't an ultimate like the poxy Warden
