Patch day question...Tanks and DW?

So rumours are floating around that DW might become a thing for tanks after this patch/content? If that's the case what could DW bring to a tank set that would be of any benefit? I am intrigued as to what might play out as I always welcome change and different ways to do things. Same ol sword and board setups do get boring so throwing something else into the mix could be fun! Then again it could be based off one little change that doesn't go live or sucks completely?? Who knows eh.....???
