Nascent Indrik requires 4 feathers.
Feathers are 10 tickets each.
Evolutions require 4 berries.
There are four variants requiring 4 berries of the same kind.
Evolutions consume the Nascent Indrik.

Total: 160 tickets + 16 berries for the four variants
200 including the basic Nascent Indrik

This is.... Excessive to say the least and we don't even know how the berries are obtained yet.

Difficulty scaling is desperately needed. 10 years. 7 paid expansions. 22 DLCs. 40 game changing updates including A Realm Reborn-tier overhaul of the game including a permanent CP160 gear cap and ridiculous power creep thereafter. I'm sick and tired of hearing about Cadwell Silver&Gold as a "you think you do but you don't"-tier deflection to any criticism regarding the lack of overland difficulty in the vast majority of PvE content being sold.

"ESO doesn't need a harder overland" on YouTube for a video of a naked level 3 character w/ no CP allocated AFKing in front of a bear for a minute and a half before dying if you don't believe me change is needed.

I don't recall them saying we could have all the variants; just one to evolve to our liking. Would be nice to see some official clarification.

Indeed, I'm still waiting, a lot of us have asked. A friend of mine suggested that perhaps they were not intending for us to be able to get all four originally but seeing that that's what we want they have to check to see if they can do that before they answer. I hope it's not that iffy and that they are simply being terrible at communicating with us again. I'm *totally* up for 200 days of event grinding if it means I can give four different indriks to four of my 15 toons and match their outfits.

I'm fine with that. I don't mind long-term goals in games.

Maybe it helps that I only really want the green one and any others I get will be a bonus, but I also genuinely don't mind when things take a long time to get, even if it's months or years.

Something to consider: The sweepstakes rules mention that you can get extra entries for up to 8 feathers purchased during the year-end events. Why enable purchases of 8 feathers if you're limited to the 4 for a single basic mount?

^This. Combined with the fact that my character rides her permahorse (no real interest in other mounts besides her palomino) means she's both a happy and patient elf. That said, she loves these types of events - not for the loot but simply because the sweet little thing likes killing stuff. :)

That's not confirmed. At one point I believe they were considering other methods of berry acquisition and the fact that they didn't mention berries in their official announcement suggests that they still haven't settled on this yet.
I don't recall them saying we could have all the variants; just one to evolve to our liking. Would be nice to see some official clarification.

    They kind of have.

That evolving consumes the nascent has been confirmed by ZOS in these forums.

Also confirmed is that future events will issue tickets and we'll be able to buy feathers from previous events with them.

There's no reason to think that we can't just keep buying and combining feathers for nascents, then feeding them berries until we have them all.

Because by the time this event comes around again, assuming it does, hopefully something else will have our attention and if there isn't, that's a sign of severe content drought.

Also like ^ said, what's the point of having collectibles if you can't collect them all in a reasonable way?

They're not grindy, they're unobtainable without setting an alarm and immediately killing a boss to get the event ticket every 20 hours.

That's a only an issue for this event. From the next update onwards the event tickets will reset at the same time as daily quests, and some other events give more than one at a time.

And whilst the current system is annoying they're not unobtainable, unless you're one of the people hit with a bug where they don't drop at all.

They’re absolutely collectible. I’m sorry you feel slighted that you have to put work in to obtain the thing you want.

Anyone feeling this way may need to re-evaluate if MMOs are really for them.

Assume there's a single event every month (there virtually is, sometimes more) and you can get only 10 tickets a month (which is a serious lowball). 200 tickets could be earned in 20 months, less than 2 years. So then June 2020 anyone grinding it casually should have them all, more or less. That's not so bad, really. And that's for several guaranteed, unique looking mounts that are entirely free which is rare for this game. And the effort is just a bloody attendance check! It takes two minutes per day!

It took me approximately 5 years to get a mount in WoW, doing an entire raid several times per week. My effort had no impact on my ability to earn it either. I couldn't speed it up. There was no reliable time frame I could use to measure my progress.

I much prefer a goal I can work towards where my efforts (or lack thereof) directly correlate to my ability to earn it. If you can't even log on for 20 minutes per month, then maybe you don't really need a nice mount?

From just the events they've already announced, you can get at least 6 feathers if you are diligent. And that's only over the next 2 months. They have had anniversary events for all the DLCs, so I'm sure we'll get tickets during those too. I would not be surprised if people are able to collect all four variants by the time July comes around.
