Newby Questions (about self healing as stamblade)

Hello,

Newby husband and wife combo downloading the game. I've played the game to around level 20 a year ago. She hasn't ever played before so we are both very new to the game. We are both rolling stamblades. In wow we enjoyed stealthing around together.

Questions about builds:
I like the idea of a 2h/bow stamblade. I used that the last go around and it was very fun. From google searching, it seems I have better survivability as 2h vs dw with brawler/rally/vigor. Is that all the healing spells I need?

She prefers dw. What healing spells are enough for her? Vigor, blood craze, leeching strikes?

Are we being overkill with healing spells and should focus more on damage ones? For now we are just wanting to learn the game to prep us for end game where we will potentially gank in pvp and 2 man dungeons.

Thank you in advance to any feedback.

    Nope sounds fine :)

Bloodcraze is only slightly less dps than Rending Slashes so fine to use. Siphoning is needed for sustain anyway, healing is just a benefit. Rally is a great heal & burst heal should it be needed, brawler is a dot that comes with a shield.

    I'd opt for:
Killers Blade, Surprise Attack, Brawler, Relentless Focus, Rally, Dawnbreaker
PI, Caltrops, Hail, Leeching, Vigor, Incap

Killers blade, Surprise Attack, Bloodcraze, Relentless Focus, Bladecloak, Dawnbreaker
PI, Caltrops, Hail, Leeching, Vigor, Incap

(Can swap vigor to where bladecloak/rally is and run Rearming Trap back bar for a little more dps if you find survival is enough without)

Vigor is what you guys will want to start working towards. It is a PVP stamina healing skill and it unlocks fairly quick. Jump in the under level 50 Cyrodiil and goof around for a bit to unlock it.

No, it's not overkill an the healing. Ganking, though, is best done with high damage and minimal contact, hence cloak.

I find that rally and vigor are fine, or blood craze and vigor. Tripots and resistances should cover the rest once you get into cp PVP.

Thank you both for the quick responses.

Does blood craze heal stack on multiple enemies? I also see on your proposed dw build that there is no Major Brutality buff like I will have via Rally. Should I even worry about those buffs until later in the game?

Also what about gap closers like Ambush? Is there a need in it? I thought it sounded cool zipping around smacking things.
