Case in point being do you feel that crafting surveys should be given more love so they would be more than likely considered instead of ignored.

Yes (because that would put more value in them or state what you feel about why they should be)

No (feels like it defeats the purpose for them)

No (I'm greedy is all or feel it would ruin the market value for the mats)

I've never heard of anyone ignoring crafting surveys, due to their significant value.

I support the idea of crafting survey nodes having a chance to drop furniture materials. Crafting players are most likely to earn surveys, most likely to have the skills necessary to craft furniture, and it fits in with Zeni's original vision of expanding the value of crafting skills without making decorating an exercise in instant gratification.

So yes, makes sense, not OP, not a game re-design.

I do surveys regardless becasue its what keeps me in crafting writ materials, but I would LOVE it if you could get furnishing mats from them as well. its not like it would significantly affect mat economy, since you don't get surveys all the time and they do take time to pick up. it would just be... nice.

Yes, not because of any pricing reason, but just because they drop in all appropriate nodes except survey nodes and I don't like exceptions to the rules unless they are necessary and this doesn't feel necessary. It's an exception for the sake of it.

They should not have a higher chance to drop, just the regular chance to drop like they do from any other node. If the rate of heartwood was, for example, 1 in 7 ruby wood then that should be the case for surveys. There are 6 nodes in a survey so this kind of ratio is fair.

I understand why they didn’t allow it when it was new, too many people had stockpiled surveys. It’s been a year now hasn’t it? Time to flip the switch.
