Lorebooks Magic Guild Ps4

I have 4 magicka chars in EU PS4 Server. Now I want to get the Shooting Star Ultimate for all my chars and it's a crazy task!

In consoles, without any addon, are long days looking the books with the map of zones showing in a tablet. I can only play 2 hours a day, and in 1 week I have reached just to level 6 with one char. It's crazy, boring and nonsense if I have to repeat this with every char.

Why not to show them in the game map? You can do a new option in settings to show or hide lorebooks.

Another option would be to do it account wide. If you get them with a char, you get them for all. At least in consoles without addons.

I think console players are a bit forgotten. All costs are higher, we receive the updates and new content always later than pc, and the lag is extreme everywhere even if you are in any open zone just walking and unplayable in PvP zones.

Meh, it's not that bad on console imo

Use the link below for locations and just complete a set for extra points and you'll max level mage guild in no time.

Thanks for the link. I'm using the Unofficial ESO App. But it's a very time consuming task and If think that showing them on the game map probably is not difficult to do and very helpful for console players.

It would be so nice to have some add-ons on console, but yeah the grind is real. I am 50'ing a new NB and I was just thinking about this earlier last weekend ..like umm when will I have the time to max out my mages guild on yet another character? Level 3 nearly 4 now and I'm very much dreading the running, but it must be done!

You may have a better way that you approach this but what I found that seems to be pretty fast, start with all the alliances. Do all of DCs, ADs and EPs lorebooks. That way you're not messing around with Cyrodiil for example. If you complete sets in the alliances first, it seems to be the easier way to go about it.

I wish they would add some QoL features addressing lorebooks and skyshards. Pretty much everyone uses the addons for this on PC, and at this point I feel like it should just be a feature. I would suggest making a map toggle showing all the lorebooks and skyshards you've found previously. That way you only have to do it once, and then all of your next characters would be able to use those toggles.
    Long term filthy casual.

If it hasn't been noted already, you don't need to find every last mage book to reach mage's guild lv 10. You should reach that before you find them all from just the alliance zones.

I did this mind-numbing task on my sorc and templar a while back, and said never again... but now I have a magblade in the wings. I'm just waiting for the next event when we have double exp, and I'll go around gathering shards and mage books, raking in exp from all the locations that get discovered on the way (he hasn't seen any of the world yet).

It would be cool if these things appeared on our maps for all characters on our account, after they are found by 1 character on our account.

As mentioned, just do the "zone lore" collections in each zone. For example, all the "Auridon Lore" books are roughly in the same region of Auridon so you don't have to run around the whole zone. Then move on to the next zone. this way you aren't concerned about starting a set that you'll need to say, go run around cryodiil for. If you happen to run across other books, skyshards, etc. . great.

I feel your pain, it's a tedious quest...but also if you only have a limited time to play why would you want to manage 4 different DPS mag chars anyways? Most play relatively the same. Pick one to focus on. Just my (meant to be friendly) advice.
