What in your opinion is the easiest world boss to solo from a newbie perspective?

Last time I asked about the world bosses was the hardest world boss in the game opinion, but this time I wanted to ask what is the easiest because I honestly can't think of it.

Don't know if he's the easiest, but one of the most noob-friendly ones that comes to mind is The Abomination in Deshaan.

He has two attacks that might mess you up; One is easy to see coming (and is the standard heavy attack mechanic everyone should familiarize themselves with), which can just be blocked. The other is even easier to see coming and if you step 3 feet left/right/backward it misses you entirely.

His telegraph times are generous. His basic attacks are easily out-healed. And, if I'm remembering correctly, he can even be CC'd. I've sent new players to him in the past when they asked for a good primer to soloing stuff, and they seemed to like it as an introduction.

EDIT, to add :: Furthermore, there are no adds to complicate things. Just you and the dude.

I don't know but I would have thought the ones in the former starter maps are the most likely candidates.

Even though everything is scaled up to CP160 now many enemies in those areas are still easier to fight because they have simpler mechanics, presumably to allow for the fact that new players would only have a few skills.

I always found the ones at the start of Stonefalls to be relatively easy to do with a new character - the crab, the qwama and the netch.

The Abomination in Deshaan, can confirm it's super easy due to CC, e.g. Wall of Frost will immobilize him for long, then you just recast it again and again, while doing other damage from distance until he dies.

Also Druitularg's Ritual Altar can be easily soloed, just need to block/bash his heavy attacks of moderate damage and all other is piece of cake.

Druitularg is a good boss to practice with, for sure. I was just looking up his name to add to the thread, haha. He's great for getting your feet wet in dealing with interrupts and incoming CCs. His damage is a step up from The Abomination, though. Probably a good "Step 2" boss to solo!

I was going to start a similar to topic to compile a list of easy to kill world bosses.

For people who can't play much during the witches festival they can just park a character near a world boss, log in and kill it, and earn the event ticket for that day.

Maybe you could update the op with a list?

You can’t kite him though, the mobs around him are annoying. If you get him in one spot near the water he’s easy because he doesn’t have any specials, just high health.

I soloed this one on a tank build just a couple of days ago. It started out as me just using this boss to "kill" me so I could test whether the Eternal Yokeda set would actually help me both stay alive & recover even with no support from a healer. It did. Then after my initial taunting and waiting to let Bittergreen kill me (which I survived thanks to the set) my pride wouldn't let me just sit there while he finished me off, so I just kept fighting him. It turns out that as long as you're tanky enough Bittergreen is surprisingly easy to solo - it just takes a long time with tank levels of DPS.

There's a few really easy ones--i'd say the biggest criteria for a "noob friendly" one is no heavy attack-style instakills, as they are tricky to read (at first) and force stamina management (as opposed to bosses with lots of "red" attacks that can just be stepped out of.

I was wondering how long it would take till someone posted a troll posting of a hard world boss... seems it didn't take that long >_> I almost thought some of it might find it more challenging to find the easiest of the easiest world bosses. lol to the peps that said the hunger and bittergreen. Although I must admit bittergreen is my favorite world boss.

I believe it! Bittergreen is a hard solo for most dps specs, but is totally doable. Not exactly noob friendly, though :P

He dishes out some serious damage. I like using him for tank testing on occasion as well. Props for having to patience to wear him down as a tank! ;)

To be fair, I do actually recommend people try Bittergreen sometimes, when they've progressed beyond the easy ones who stand still and let you murder them. He's a good test for awareness & reaction time on builds where he can kill you in two hits. Those stuns get ya! You learn real quick to break free and dodge, which are useful skills.

I do admit he is a great test for situation awareness, there is a reason why I like him and it is the one that isn't too much but keeps you on your toes.

Is that the troll? I never know, but the troll boss is a great challenge for those on the verge of soloing WB. Good starting point. Good to test a bit of your rotation and build last long enough.
