Hey, maybe the reason the servers are down for so long today is because they're fixing a buncha stuff... as well as all the free homes.
Maybe they're implimenting fixes to jewelry? ( https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/comment/5524026#Comment_5524026 )
Maybe we're finally getting guildhall functionality?
Maybe they're making a lot of the overpriced stuff in the Crown Store cheaper? A friend bought me the Merchant and Banker but I still think they're too expensive.
Maybe they're bringing back Noctournal's Robe?

    Zenimax Only Studs now runs this game. Give them time to breed our horses.

    Some current issues fixed today.
    Some issues cause by today's fix will be fixed with Murkmire release.
    Murkmire issues will be partially solved in 4 updates' time.

    2020: Jewelry finally fixed.
    2024: Guildhall functionality finally introduced, bugged to Oblivion. Only official Guildhalls get this functionality.
    Cost of an official Guildhall: 100,000 crowns.

    If there was a patch it would say patch maintenance at the top instead of just saying maintenance. There was no patch on this one. No patch = no fixes

    It is only taking so long because the patch-notes will include 1000's of: "You get a pet, you get a mount, you get a house!" and they haven't found the copy&paste button yet.
