I'm 50-50. I'm hoping the changes aren't too bad. I'm trying to get all of my hard modes and no death runs before the patch hits console.

Absolutely.

Cyrodiil will be a blast - I tested a few things and it almost feels like a mild overhaul. Beside destroyable bridges and gates, the landscape and other strategic points have been changed. This will certainly be the best and greatest update to Cyrodiil since like ever.

New combat changes are finally viable and looking exciting. There will be changes in the playing styles but I find that refreshing.

And finally new content and zone. Murkmire does look interesting, it's an overcast swamp area full of suspicious activities. :-) I expect some great quests there. The trouble is, I have so many zones and quests in backlog, ZOS is pushing things so fast for us that love PVP and questing and exploration.

I look forward to all the class changes and nerfes. Some of them were needed. Also more stuff to destroy in Cyrodill sounds great.

I don't like swamps though, so i might skip PvE content. Also i don't like Argonians, and this was more the case after that sun-in-shadow questline. God, horrific if i remind myself of it.

Yeah. The quest line should be interested and something new. It will be interesting to know more about argonian culture if you're interested in lore. To be honest dont care about nerfs, they're not game breaking, they're big changes , but no need to be a cry baby, just take a punch and live with it.

Honestly, I don't really care one way or another.

New stuff should be great but EVERY SINGLE UPDATE brings with it a MASSIVE amount of bugs, problems, imbalances that need a bunch of hotfixes. People always conveniently forget this.

"We'll be bringing the NA & EU PC megaservers offline, in 15 minutes to <blah blah blah>".

But this update is especially significant as it appears certain classes are going to get nerf-hammered and won't be enjoyable to play anymore.

The game will carry on but if there was ever a "golden age" of ESO, it's long gone. Maybe my 3 subs will help things?

"Nerfmire" isn't nearly as bad as it would be if the shields kept the cast times. The instant damage mitigation is what keeps a lot of people, in both pvp and pve, alive. Not just sorcs. I'm glad they redid it.

I am glad people going full-on Sanic are getting nerfed as well, mainly stamdens. Sure, spin2win is still a thing, but they won't be able to zip off, heal to full health, and come back to dawnbreaker everyone. Then repeat. Bird of Prey will only give them 4 secs of fast time too. And their shimmering shields should be able to be critted on. There's that.

I'm looking forward to the Cyrodiil changes but ZO$ has an awful track record with big changes so i'm cautiously optimistic. Hopefully this doesn't send us back to the Clockwork City disaster with load screens. It will be bugged to hell I'm sure.
