The management of the game is indeed bizarre. There's clear 'cash-grab' mentality in terms of a cash shop full of tat, and yet many of the things you'd think they'd do to the actual game, that would ensure a nice stream of revenue a'la healthy numbers of subs, ZOS just don't do. The game itself, is now worse in terms of quality than many F2P games, so not many people will shell on a subscription.
As you say, they're all over the place with it and I just don't understand what senior management are thinking, as the whole thing feels like a directionless mess.
Big shame, in terms of the world, the TES name and lore, all of that, it could be truly amazing.4 -
