Does duel wielding weapons count as only 1 weapon in an item set?

My main has equipped 2 full sets (defilers and hundings rage, both of them only using apparel and jewellery), and the weapons I'm using are dual wield axe and mace, and a bow. All of said weapons are of the Agility set, which only requires 3 pieces to be full (my logic: axe, mace, bow = 3 pieces) but it says I only have 2 pieces equipped. Does dual wielding only count as 1 piece or am i missing something? I read that it might depend on which bar im using at the time, but that isn't my problem because when I was on the dual wield bar and I unequipped my bow, it said I only had 1 piece equipped.

It depends on your bar. If you are using the DW then that's 2 (one each hand--assuming both weapons are part of the same set). If you use the bow, then that's also 2. But you can't count both weapon bars at the same time. Whichever equipped is what is counted

Dual wielding does count as two pieces but the pieces do not cross the bars. So 1 bar you have two pieces (axe, mace) and the other bar you have two pieces (bow) because of the recent two hand change.

    ^This!^

Only the currently "active" pieces are counted for the sets. Anything on your back bar will not be counted when your front bar is active, and anything on your front bar will not be counted when your back bar is active...

A bow does however count as two set pieces nowadays, so... add one ring, and your agility set will be done. But of course then you cannot use two full sets anymore. Two full sets and one two-piece monster set is the best you can get...

Best scenario is craft hundings dual wield and bow. Replace two hundings body pieces with monster set.

Edit: 2pc of the same monster set is usually best but you can wear one monster piece for max stamina and a different for a one piece of weapon damage. Would be similar to 3 pc agility.
