Xbox has an issue at present on LAN that it often won't pick up the connection on boot up and you need to do a soft reset for it to work.
But I'm guessing you are PC as you didn't mention platform at all that's an assumed default...

Windows says your lan cable is disconnected when you play eso? That's pretty weird. Are you sure this is the exact error message? Can you screenshot it for us?

If you click somebody's name it shows their primary platform. He's on PS4.
And to answer OP as a PS4 player, no this isn't happening to me from ESO.

Huh... weird, mine doesn't seem to show a platform, at least for me.

You have to set it in edit profile. Wish it put platform under our icons or forum stars instead of having to click user to see if they added theirs.

He's on PS4. and when the LAN disconnects on PS4 it throws a small box with exactly what he says "LAN cable has disconnected." In my experience though, since I use LAN religiously, anytime I've seen this error it was something needing to be done on my end - be it fixing wires, resetting router/modem etc.
