when is the october event supposed to start and will that introduce the Indrik feathers?

It is presently in testing on the PTS. So.... soon.

Not as hyped as I was for last years as it was my first Halloween event. Aside from the addition of the indrik feathers it's probably going to be a repeat of previous years, just with a few new items added to the old rewards from plunder skulls.

I wasnt hyped last year because it was exactly like the year before but i see your point. They are adding the new Dremora motifs this year though that do not drop from plunder skulls so should be interesting.

Edit: They may drop from plunder skulls idk for sure but i know you have to do maelstrom arena, trial etc for different pages of the motif.

The witches festival will start around the 18th and I believe the indrik feathers are part of the murkmire update around mid November

During events you get special vouchers that you take to a stand outside the major cities of each alliance (Daggerfall, Vulkhel Guard, and Davons Watch) to exchange for a feather. After you get so many feathers you can perform a ritual to get an indrik mount. Apparently being implemented with the Murkmire dlc in November. Theres a topic where someone posted details from the pts patch notes regarding the indrik feathers.
