Stamina DK

Hello, I am recently returned from a 5-6 month hiatus from ESO and was wondering if anyone could help me out with a build question. Im obviously a stamina DK, race imperial and my play style is melee dps with bow on backbar for dots. I was wondering what the best sets would be for this play style and type of build. Im currently running 5x VO, 5x Hundings/mechanical acuity and 2x selenes/velidreth. How can I improve my dps from a set perspective. I know I need to perfect my rotation again as Im really rusty with it.

Mainly my question is what are the best sets for a stam dk for PVE and PVP? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bonus question: Where do you get your builds from? Online, do you create them yourself? If you create them is there a tool I can use to try and create my own?

Thanks!

For PVE, Relequen is the new body set, with the Perfect Relequen set from vet Cloudrest being the top version. I run the normal Relequen (as I have yet to get a full set of Perfect) with VO jewelry and weapons as I do not have the Maelstrom Bow. If you have the MA bow, I've seen people running Advancing Yokeda, Briarheart, or Ravager with Relequen. Your monster sets are still viable, but Stormfist is a really, really good alternative. And Relequen procs Stormfist and Selenes

That's not to say VO is no longer widely used. Plenty love to pair it with Briarheart and some of the other sets I've mentioned But Briarheart appears to be the most popular outside of Relequen.

Can't speak to PVP, though. Not familiar with it enough to give advice.

I use alcast as a place to start, then tweak it to see what works for me. Hence the Relequen + VO build.

Welcome back!Try the UESP Build Editor. It is a really good tool for theorycrafting builds.

While I don’t play stam dk, my brother does to great effect. I wish I knew more about it myself. There is a youtuber named King of Gamez 83 who uses a bow/2h stam dk setup. Here is a link to a recent video of him playing it:

Although I don’t see any info about what setup he uses, hopefully that helps. Maybe you can message him and ask.

Relequen's + Berserking Warrior and then whatever monster helm you want. Resource management is really good on StamDKs so VO really ins't necessary at all.

Typically, Selene's the one that would be paired with Relequen because Relequen procs it. But Velidreth is good too.

In absence of Berserking Warrior, there's also Ravager, but again, better be paired with Relequen for good uptime. And lacking that, there's also easily available Briarheart which easily procs by a few DoTs, carries over bar swaps (good if there's vMA bow) and has a nice little heal on it.

Is this for PVE? Where can I find Berserking warrior? isnt that Hel Ra? also where can I find ravager other than guild store? I dont have VMA Bow. BiS for Stam DK now is 5x relequin, 5x ravager/berserking warrior and 2x selenes/stormfist? Ill have to try this out. Now I just need to figure out what to use in PVP I still got 24 lvls to figure that out though.

Thanks everyone for your responses I appreciate it!

Berserking Warrior is also called Advancing Yokeda. It is in Hel Ra. Do not confuse it for the not-so-useful Eternal Yokeda. It also does not have a bow

@RABIDxWOLVERINE , basically @El_Borracho already responded - thanks to him; but yes, it's PvE, and tooltip name is Advancing Yokeda, drops in HRC - mind, since it's a heavy set, you'll have to run it in jewelry and transmute it from Healthy to the trait of your choice (same with Ravager). Ravager can be bought from guild store or grabbed from reward boxes in Cyrodiil (there's also a merchant in one of location that sells sealed boxes for AP, a bit of a lottery).

I've also seen people using Veiled Heritance instead of yokeder, you get it all over auridon. Might be easier to get then to farm hrc.

What if you combined Relequen with Ravager? Relequen's harmful winds (I think) are supposed to proc Selene's, so why wouldn't it also proc Ravager?

Might have to check this out

@El_Borracho , I think it's misunderstanding - @Banana asks about monster set's attack that would proc Ravager in turn, not 5-piece sets that procs it (which, yes, Relequen does). So question is probably about which monster sets' damage is counted as melee for Ravager's purposes.

Just an update - as things stand, seems like after Murkmire lands, Relequen won't proc Ravager or Selene anymore.
