Is the ps4 community well populated?

My wife and I both just bought it on our ps4's so that we can play on our couch. Is it well populated compared to PC/Xb1?

I think yes. There are a ton of people everywhere I go. Even in obscure places with nothing going on there are a few stragglers runnin' around.

The main towns are jam packed with players and PVP seems pretty busy as well. I can't say how many people for sure obviously, but chat is always rollin' in every zone. No problems finding dungeon or trial groups. Lots of trading going on. More guilds than you can shake a stick at. Some of the main dolmiens are rediculous.

I think you will be satisfied with the amount of players on ps4.

I can't compare it to XB or PC because I haven't played on those platforms but I can tell you there are always other players around, plenty of activity in chat and the dungeon finder is usually pretty quick. Welcome!

No, i've played since release and you can see the big pop drop in both pvp and pve.

I've played PC and PS4. PS4 NA has had a very nice healthy population, least for PvP and open world PvE(I don't often do end game PvE tho). Enjoy!

It's pretty apparent in some zones - and It gets to the point in Alikr, Auridon and Craglorn where it can't even load player models, just black sillouettes - and even the game map will drop off all resources/ground textures leaving only the heightmap. The server population is wild for us.

I’ve been on PS4 NA since midnight launch. It always seems populated.

I’ve been on 2/3 of the communities—PC and PS4–since launch, and I find PS4 larger with the added benefit of voice coms. Despite all the addons and performance potential of PC (it does look great—though Pro version holds up well), I keep coming back to PS4.

I've been playing since launch on PS4 NA and I'll just echo what everyone else has already said.

Very populated, no worries trying to do literally anything you want lol. People are relatively friendly, had a few sour apples in dungeons but I feel that's pretty normal wherever you go.

I don't have a way to compare the population to those to other two platforms, but it is mostly well populated.

There are dead times very late at night, but the NA American server at least, is pretty well populated.

Well, I've moved from PS4 to Linux so... the population of the EU server has gone down by at least one .

As far as overall population, I'd been having an on and off break from ESO on the console prior to moving onto the master race's platform, and every occasion I logged back in it seemed more empty but that could just be down to me not logging on at peak times. Take it with a grain of salt.

This my "console MMO" of choice, personally. I play on PS4 NA server.

Every town always has a ton of people in it. Most overworld zones have people running around. Pvp is always fairly populated. Etc.

So... yea... still quite populated

I actually started playing again after some time away recently (stopped playing about mid-morrowind) and i rolled a new alt. Coming back and seeing THIS much population was something that actually stood out (i dabble in a lot of MMOs on PC and quite a few are ghost towns).

Honestly, outside of Warcraft i think FF14, GW2 and ESO are the top MMO contenders right now.

Depends on timeframe
If you are oceanic and/or play on EU it is the worse populated mmo by far, But if you play on NA and are American, you'll be fine

As someone who played for a long time on PC, it's AS populated if not more on PS4. I see so many people everywhere.
