It's the perfect opportunity to buff Magden by reworking Eternal Guardian

Seeing that pets will now be immune from damage in trials and dungeons why not buff the Mag Morph of the bear by 30% (make it so after the morph its back at current live levels). I think that with the bear at current level, and the proposed buffs magden would be in a much better place. And since Stamdens don't use Eternal Guardian they wouldn't be buffed by raising the dam of the mag bear. On the issue of the bear losing the auto regen ability, that would only be an problem in overland, and realistically there aren't that many threatening mobs or opponents who can kill the bear before the warden fights back.

I thought the same thing yesterday, if ZoS goes through with unkillable pets in pve, this would make the wardens current Eternal Guardian morph useless in Murkmire.

I'm not sure how they could have missed that if they had a warden class representative, and are they going to do anything about the morph before launch? Perhaps I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and maybe they're working on a few fixes with the warden class.

I would be okay with the 30% mega-nerf if we didn't have to slot the bear on both bars.
Why did the Dunmer cross the road?
Apparently to get stuck in an eternal load screen!

I kind of feel the same way. To be honest I felt that way when he was at full strength.

If they would leave the mag version's bear alone and rework swarm to perform like poison injection I think that would help Magdens dps considerably without buffing up our stamina side which is already performing well. For some reason they thought a -30% bear damage and an increase to swarm cost while still needing to be double cast was the smarter move..go figure.

If meteor, or balista or Dawnbreaker had gotten a 30% nerf the game would have burned down. I for one am not ok with the class's signature being gutted single barred or not.

I agree that if another more commonly used ultimate was being nerfed the outcry would be much larger. If wardens are the bottom tier for magicka dps and this nerf is only a 1% to 2% dps loss to wardens using the bear why not let them actually keep that 1%-2% dps?

Not true that Stam Wardens do not run the bear. While the bear has issues, it is a force in PvP, when it works. In PVE it is a great finisher, nice contribution to DPS as well as the maul Stun. I hate to see the bear go. On the other hand curious to see how the offsetting buffs change game play for Wardens.

IMHO if you are playing your Warden and your measurement of value is from non-viable builds DPS number on a dummy then you are not understanding the Warden's value. That said I'm amazed at the ignorance of some of the trials folks. The whole stack and spam springs is considered "high strategy".

It's going to take awhiie for adjustment to filter down. Maybe a long time.

Stamdens do not run Eternal Guardian because it's a mag morph. Or at least I hope they don't.
