Is ZOS aware of the block bug? It's when you get stuck in block mode while in combat. Same mechanism as the sprint bug.

✭✭✭✭✭The block bug is a lot easier to reproduce than the sprint bug. The mechanism behind the two is the same (getting stuck in a toggle that shouldn't be a toggle). Tracking the block bug and isolating the cause should help shed light on the sprint bug as well.
