People disappearing

Sometimes i attack someone and they just disappear.

It's not cloak, because it has an animation and you can spot cloak when soemone is cloaking. Also i saw it on a DK and no NB
It's not shade either.

Are those invisible potions? Even with magelight or detection potions, i can pull people out of cloak easily. But these guys disappear and are nowehere to be found.

Their character just vanishes. It's like they stand still and pixel by pixel they are gone (but quick). What is it?

"I am a nightblade. Blending the disciplines of the stealthy agent and subtle wizard, I move unseen and undetected, foil locks and traps, and teleport to safety when threatened, or strike like a viper from ambush. The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

I've seen this two times. Both times players were DK. They just disappeared and been completely invisible while still attacking me as usual. At first, I thought it was a player cheating but next time I decided it's a bug.
I think I was able to capture the first occasion on my stream.

Yeah, it's a bug that's been around for a little bit. Often, you'll see a player when they're standing still, but disappear as soon as they start moving. Easy way to fix it is by changing zones.

I never go to Cyro without invis pots, but you can't attack and still be invisible.

There were a lot of invisible players for a while, but they fixed that... unless the bug has returned.

Well, they don't attack. I attack them and when i hit they just disappear into thin air, even with detect potions or mage light.
    Then they are gone.

Someone ingame mentioned to me it might be the pjsiic skill line ultimate which resets them to 4 seconds ago. I don't know how that looks so cannot judge on that. But even with 4 secs reset they should be in the vicinity i think.

Oh well, back into the fray.

Detect pots and magelight have pretty small ranges. Much smaller than shade, or even Undo. If you have expedition up, you can get out of detect range pretty fast.

Add in some latency and the other player maybe be significantly farther away.
