Moon Hunter Keep is too impossible to finish.

I've been *literally* 6 times in a dungeon with different people (from clans and random groups), and all of them have disbanded it cause they can't finish the white werewolf boss, this is tiring and it wastes my time and resources honestly.
can we just get a huge nerf for the werewolf boss or this dungeon overall please? Cause this is getting ridicoulus.

I did this dungeon no problem first time. I don't think that it needs a nerf.

Why did you assume they're an inept player?

If you have a specific goal in mind for a dungeon, you don’t PUG using the dungeon finder.

“Goal” can include a simple clear on a DLC dungeon.

Find a group with friends or guldies.

    I've attempted the place twice.

The first time, we went through many tanks and couldn't complete it. Our DPS wasn't doing a great job, and the tanks would either leave as soon as they entered the dungeon, or were just learning it, but couldn't pull it off.

The second time I went in, we kicked the crap out of it.

It just comes down to understanding the mechanics in my opinion.

this is what i've done 3 of the times, and all of them have disbanded or left cause they thought it was too strong.

I feel your pain OP -- I find that more times than not I can get through DLC dungeons on normal with one group from the queue (some on vet), but I've had A LOT of trouble with this one. At a certain point it doesn't matter how many times you type "KILL THE SPRIGGANS" or "INTERRUPT THE POUNCE," some groups just aren't gonna get it together. I've definitely had more disbands in MHK than any other DLC dungeon.

Sometimes you actually do get a good random group that knows the mechanics, has a great DPS burn, listens and learns, or some combination of the three.

Is that the boss with a one-shot mechanic? It doesn't have a ground patch but there is a tell. He'll raise his arms and glow red. It takes a tank with good timing to block. Someone also needs to interrupt him when he knocks party members down.

    Right?

Never had an issue with this dungeon, but if it's troubling you, don't queue for it or just do it on normal mode.

Well, I don't want to spoil it for you, but the next boss is an even bigger pain in the ***. But was able to beat this with a PUG group, once we got a real tank and not a DPS cuing as a tank. That, more than anything is the key to MHK

Three days in a row I got this dungeon when queuing for a random daily. I didn't want to be a person who drops group as soon as they load in bc it's a DLC and I didn't want to wait for the queue timer countdown. So, it's not always that simple.

Sorry, what I mean is, if there is a dungeon that is irksome for you, either do the random normal queue if you want the bonus XP (all normal dungeons can be completed with even a very flaky PUG), or omit the vet version from your queue list.

The dungeon is fine, a lot of people are just bad. That's why you go in with a group you know is good, or you wind up spending two hours in there and not even making it past the Archivist boss. Just make sure someone always gets an interrupt on the white werewolf boss when she pounces on someone, and drag her through the storm warden's aoe after they die.

I assume you are talking about vet but even in normal there are mechanics that must be followed in that fight. Have gotten that with a normal random and some mechanics must still be respected unless dps is tops.

I have posted a guide from these forums for that dungeon. I hope it helps.

The white werewolf boss is honestly... harder than the final boss imo. The problem is, if you don't have the dps, or at least coordinated dps to kill the shock wardens quickly, you're in a for a bad time. Also having at least one ranged magicka dps (or healer) with Crushing Shock makes the boss much easier, since they can interrupt the pounce from afar.

Well you may not have an option to not queue for it if you are doing random for daily rewards. Then if you end up in this, its either 20 min penalty or a cancerous night wiping over and over until your pug group get it right or give up...

I just quit from DLC dungeons tbh when i run across them in randoms.. Not that I can't do or beat them eventually but it's just not worth it, don't need more stress in the game too after a day of work & traffic already. :)

Kill the lightning adds and interrupt the boss before it one shots someone, just like the senche from fang lair. People are just too used to facerolling to the point that any sort of difficulty in the game makes things "impossible".

I've only done this dungeon (partially) once. It was me queuing for a random normal on my main tank, and I got stuck with a group whose tank left. I had no idea about any of the mechanics, and while I asked, nobody bothered to explain any of it to me (or anyone else). I figured it out as I went, but there were several wipes.

While I find the mechanics-intensive dungeons interesting, they're just a pain in the behind. These dungeons on normal are more akin to vet difficulty. It's definitely not what I wanted for my random normal, and thank the gods I was on my main tank, because my others would have just been crushed.

I've done it several times with PUGs successfully.
Not sure why it's hard for people, it's by far one of the simplest dungeons. I have more trouble with the Trash mobs just emerging around a corner and 1 shotting someone in the group than I do with any of the bosses.

The latest Vet dungeons are all painful.

I have tried Fang Lair once and vowed never to return again .. I then went outside and ran into the traffic.

Finished Scalecaller and to this day I believe I had a stroke through it.

You have 2 options. Play on normal or L2P. Sorry, but these arent even the toughest DLCs they have released. We took out HM in one sitting for both, neither lasted more than a few hours. The bosses leading up to them can all essentially be nuked with good DPS, assuming you take out a few adds here and there. They are all very straightforward fights, that amount to burn boss, kill adds, and repeat.

Lol... Completed it in my first attempt.. Did this dungeon with 2 random low cp Guildies and a dungeon finder DPS. It was the funnest dungeon I've ran so far. The other DPS would NOT do mechanics so I was left to focus adds. The mechanics are punishing if you don't do them as they should be. I don't see why it would need a nerf. Instead of begging for nerfs just read up on the mechanics and find some competent peeps to run it. For the most part the bosses let you know whats coming up and what to focus. Hope you complete it soon :)

    The dungeon's not that bad..
For that fight (the boss's name escapes me), DPS need to focus down the Shock Wardens first and foremost, then the boss herself.
The tank needs to chain (Warden gate, DK chains, Silver Leash) the wolves as they cannot be taunted and try to hold them down (Encase, Gripping Shards, Talons) and let them be AoE'd to death.
The Shock Wardens will enrage the boss, making her hit much harder. This can be removed by bringing her into the electric pools Shock Wardens leave behind when killed.
When the boss does her leap/stun/instant kill if not interrupted mechanic, you need to (obviously) have someone interrupt it.

It's not that bad a fight, but most of the fights in MHK punish you for having very high DPS and trying to skip mechanics.
