I did not read about the gold, but I do want the house. I have a stam sorc that doesn't have a home and it would be perfect for her. I can always use the gold though. I only have 60K in my bank though I do have a perfect roe to sell but I am no longer in a trading guild.

So far I only have 24k in my bank saved up for guild store stuff, definitely can’t wait for the 100k

The gold is for the last daily login reward. It is not part of the event for the pet, mount and house.

I miss that farming spot in Vvanderfell, too bad they nerfed it
