Upgrate to Collection edition ?

Hello,

I own a Morrowind edition of the game and I was wondering if, by buying the Collection edition, it would upgrade my account to allow me to use those new contents.
Or will I have to use a whole new account ?
I have a Bethesda account, not using Steam.

Well, I have the base game with Morrowind and I wanted to buy the Collection edition that includes the game, Morrowind, Summerset, Dark Brotherhood, Thieves Guild, Orsinium and the Imperial city as this will cost me a bit less (and me a lot easier).

My question is : will I still have my account with my characters (that means upgrading my account to have the other DLC's), or will I have to start all over ?

Well, A dev on an other forum stated that it works. I can apply the Collection bonuses to my regular account.
