Players DO help players

My husband bought Summerset last night and was working toward the Summerfall event on the EU server--he had voice chat on and I could hear the conversations going on as players were helping one another to get to the locations. I've had the new chapter for a while and have been impressed the last few days watching zone chat with these offers, but hearing the players talking last night was pretty cool--not only discussing the game, but talking about the differences between the school system in the UK and the US, life in one place vs life in the other...it was great to eavesdrop on.

Then, later, I was in Banished Cells II with a pretty low-level group with a 700+ tank who was just taking a beating for us while we struggled our way through. Must have taken us 45 minutes to kill Imril. I was frustrated because I was on a new character at Level 40 and knew what I could do with my 400+s...this poor dude must have been tearing his hair out. Afterwards, he invited me to his guild and offered help learning mechanics, getting better gear, etc.

So nice to see players being excellent to one another.

These are the kind of stories we should be sharing more on the forums, rather than just the horror stories.

The Summerfall event has been great for getting players from EU and NA working together and chatting. Not sure of it was ZOS intention to have everyone play on an alternate region for the event but it's been a wonderful consequence if not.

I already had the Summerset achievement unlocked, but a couple of guildies asked for a port to Artaeum for the last POI. I took them and asked if anyone else wanted a quick run to get the achievement. I ended up taking a couple groups to unlock it.

The Summerfall event has really generated a lot of helpful assists from players on Xbox. Going to EU and seeing offers of group escorts and trips to Artaeum freely offered was really cool. I've been seeing it on our side as well. It may be one of the reasons our numbers were significant enough for the Xbox community to be mentioned in the big jumps. My main guild is already an international group and it is fun to hear the different accents as we're all working toward the same goal.
