Lets assume for a moment that crittable Shields goes Live...

Assuming that this happens, how much Spell Crit will you be targeting for PvP?

Because shields inherit armor rating + impen, the value of crit vs shields is the same as the value of crit for an un-shielded target. I think armor/spell pen will be a lot better than crit now that it works equally on shielded and un-shielded targets, and better for non-cp in general.

I tend to run PvE build with impen, so mothers sorrow & thief. Just because I'm too lazy to change.
@Sparr0w so I get the notification

I don't really target specific crit percentages, usually. On high-offense builds I tend to land between 40 and 50%.

The change to shields isn't really making me value shields that much more in an absolute sense--if anything, it's making me think about Spinners....

To be honest, as 5H, I think the only reason to push my crit past the 35%~ it's on now would be if I found myself healing significantly more or I wanted to take points out of shattering blows - Will have to work out if it's a good trade off but it's a lot of variables.

I play in no cp so 30% is pretty reasonable there without having to build specifically for crit. That’s with major prophecy and bonus from 5 light armor.

Agreed, 30-40% is reasonable for both modes.

Julianos with another crit bonus set in light however does give you over 40% in nCP with a 1.7 modifier if using race against time. If your target is a 26% crit resist enemy, that's a 1.44 modifier every other hit lol.

I usually naturally have 40-50 crit . That’s more than enough even 30 something in no cp is decent. As a Templar you’re going to crit pretty often because you essentially have a lot of dots going off.
