Gamemasters on Console

Honest question. Do any of the developers play the console versions at all? I've played since launch and I've never once heard of or seen a gamemaster or even random person claiming to work for Zenimax on Xbox. I know that my console cohorts aren't exactly inclined to participate much in the larger community, but maybe if some devs had a noticeable presence we'd feel more motivated.

I remember when I used to play Warframe regularly we'd be able to talk with the devs quite easily several times throughout the day. We always felt as though they actually cared about console players because they made sure that community representatives were always present and available. Their livestreams would even feature the console representatives and give shoutouts to players on console that were active in the community.

Does ZoS just not have the staff to handle throwing a staff member or two on to each console for a bit of community interaction? Do they just feel like we aren't important enough because we rarely engage with the larger community on the forums? Or are there actually devs on the consoles and somehow I and everyone I know have just missed them?

So what, they show up for livestreams and then disappear?

There aren't GMs for livestreams either.

I haven't even met a customer service Gamemaster in almost 4 years.

Been here since the very beginning - never seen one. You have better luck seeing a unicorn pooping rainbows.

I’ve seen two and spoke to a few in zone chat.

The ones I’ve seen have a unique costume on and look a bit jesus like.

I used to think there wasn't game masters on xbox na, but I have had a situation that might likely merit that it was a game master that eliminated all the bots at the areas told them to. Wish they put their presence more know but I can both argue against and for the case of being making themselves invisible for doing so. Invisible of course so they don't see them, but visible to actually make a comfort to others that they care for their games. It is a double edged blade, imo not showing enough presence isn't helping but hurting. There is likely way more things to think about as well that would probably go into pages and pages but I honestly don't feel like posting that atm.

If I remember correctly, Rob moved over to XBox as his platform of choice.

As for someone claiming to work for ZOS? That's not an employee. I haven't read them, but ZOS has some pretty strict rules for developers playing on the live servers, including mandatory orientation. Now, most (if not all) employees go through that, and they do play on the live servers, they just choose to keep a low profile for fairly obvious reasons.

I mean, would you want to come home from work only to get yelled at by someone who's salty about the latest round of balance changes? Especially if that's not even your department?
