Resource poisons ARE poison to the game (THOUGH, they are one of the few things in the game that WORK as described lol). Is 10% from 30% a good thing. Not enough or what.

I voted boo because my limited experience in ESO so far has shown that poisons aren't as potent as weapons and spells themselves. Nerfing poisons makes them even less useful.

    You'd compare poisons to glyphs.

And poisons > glyphs for the most part.

Cost poisons were just one of zos lazy ways to try and counter sustain pre morrowind.

And of course all it achieved was become an Xv1 tool, like everything zos don't seem to test.

    I'm glad they're gone.

Resource poisons are still suuuper good because of the resource return aspect. 10% cost increase is fine by me.

Though, if you’re 1vXing shouldn’t you be fighting Xv1 noobs lol. (Though, admittedly it’s hard to 1vX without resources...point taken :p ) lol!

The problem wasn't so much with just poisons but poisons stacked with PVP CP resources.
If the change goes live, when pairing two equal players with the same CP points spent, the poisons will give a slight advantage in certain areas over the person not using them.

The nerf to poisons that increase Magicka and Stamina is the best change they made on PTS Update 20 Murkmire so far.
I have asked ZOS to nerf it to 10% many times in the past.
I'm so glad they finally listened :)

If you use cost poisons in PvP you are a flop...

The analogy I use is car racing.
One driver punches a hole in the other driver's fuel tank then claims "I am the better driver LOLOLOL" when the other can't complete the race. Nothing about it promotes good gameplay.
I often wonder if ppl using broken mechanics actually think they are good at pvp.

The only time cost poisons would be ok if you are the 1 in 1vX, but since I doubt there is many ppl that would/can just equip and unequip quickly based on upcoming encounters, yes, nerfing cost poisons was one of the good changes.

Removing cost poisons entirely would have been a better move, but 10% is at least sort of reasonable.

I use them when fighting ball groups like TKG and you’re right you can’t easily unequip them when fighting other people.

However, all these sanctimonious l33t players usually log or port elsewhere when a ball Zerg rolls through...

Most people cry for nerfs when their build fails and they die. I duel really great players who laugh when I forget to take off poisons. Good players still win. People who just THINK they are good cry for nerfs.

I’m the op and I voted boo because resource poisons are a good counter when facing 10 templars, 10 Wardens, 3 nightblades, and a StamDK who thinks 24v1 makes them cool as ice lol

Well I def don't fit into that catergory. Delightfully average pvper here. I don't even duel, because I feel the outcome is pre-determined. I probably should maybe i'll actually get better.

I also BG more than open world. All I know is I might be fighting one or two ppl doing ok, maybe be even eek out a win.. and suddenly my resource bar just plummets, even though I am not doing anything different. Yup poisoned *gold clap* well done...

    This is a good thing.

But.. knowing the usual mentality of people, next patch there will be whiney nerf posts like "something must be done to these endless sustain people at pvp.." asking for sustain nerfs because poisons are not effective anymore, especially at cp campaigns, you`ll see. >:)

Yup dueling is generally a self-gimped exercise, like fighting with a handicap; yet, it is without a doubt a great way to get better.

Poisons are in the game. They were 60% increase, currently they are 30% , on the PTS they are 10%. Resource poisons exist. They are something one is likely to encounter. It’s something one has to take into account in PvP.

Oft times when people die it’s always because “something is broken.” “You’re a scrub” if you kill me. Etc etc.

Sloads goes through shields! Nerf Sloads. Shields are OP! Nerf shields. ZOS is in the unenviable position of having to juggle classes, sets, and abilities in order to create some emphemeral standard of balance, when THE standard from their paying customers is “if it kills me it’s bad.”
