Building my first stamina character. Which class would be best for damage and survivability in PvE?

Right now I have a MagDK (main and favorite), MagBlade, PetSorc, Magplar Healer, and a Warden Tank (argonian). I've never played a stam character, so I know I will die a lot without the shields from Harness Magicka and the need to be in melee range. I'm willing to sacrifice a bit of damage for survivability. Which class should I choose? If Warden, can I just respec my tank to avoid the grind?

Krayl✭✭✭✭✭SorcStam Sorc is what i play as my stam DPS and I enjoy it. Very survivable with crit surge and hurricane up you're constantly healing with your major resistances rolling as well. I recommend being a redguard; I have tried both orc and khajit, but had a hard time sustaining.1
